A question, /int/, what is your favourite city in your home country and why?

3 min later 7222400 Anonymous
mine , cause I was born and raised there

Gotta go with NYC. Even with its faults, it truly is a cosmopolitan city. Where else will you find an Indian-Kosher (I think it was called Om Shalom or something) fusion restaurant next to a Japanese Gyro place?

After Uppsala (my home town) i would say Linköping, coziest city in the world. Not to big and not to small + that they've got the aircraft industry there yeah fighter planes and shit fllying there all the time.

Seaside Oregon, it's small quaint, and I have a cabin near the ocean there

Oxford - It's a nice size, has nice architecture, is clean and has a nice pace of life. It does have a high-proportion of posh tossers (at least central Oxford does), but if you can avoid them then you're good to go.

Berlin, because its the easiest city to fuck dumb hipster tourists in dark rooms in. Other than that this place is a shithole.

Probably Edinburgh. It's not too big (I'm not a fan of huge cities). Has really lovely architecture, a rich cultural heritage and you're not all that likely to be stabbed.

>>7222409 nah, the coolest american city is san francisco. nyc has all the money and power, and you can live a cool but cold life there. sf is where anyone can have a peaceful happy and fruitful existence. long live san francisco!

18 min later 7222606 Anonymous
>>7222582 Everyone walks so goddamn slow in SF. 50% of my time walking there was spent slicing imaginary heads off with a huge broadsword. Plus they expect me to not smoke on the sidewalk. In fucking public.

>>7222429 i love fighter planes flying slow and low over the trees. when i was young (and i am quite old), during the vietnam war era, my family was going to the beach in south carolina, down a road lined with tall pine trees. two fighter jets came down the road just over the car tops, and executed a perfect turn into a break in the woods. best moment of my life. yah, my life is not that exciting. but that day it was.

Punta Arenas, where I live right now. A close second would be Puerto Williams. I've been lucky enough to travel to a lot of places in my country. But I just love the south.
