How fucked is your country/region going to be by climate change?

1 min later 7075010 Anonymous
Depends what the levels of precipitation are like in 2080. Do you have those figures?

We'll all be fucked indirectly, Sweden's climate should hold up pretty well though apart from some coastal regions being submerged.

>>7075155 That's just for the Arctic, which happily is pretty biology-thin. But since most of the northern hemisphere's weather is heavily affected by the jet streams emanating from the Arctic, shit's going to get weird in terms of precipitation.

People forget the positive aspects of increased temperatures, going to East Asia via the Arctic is starting to become a viable trade route cutting fuel consumption by 40% and in some places the increased temperatures will lead to increases in crop yields. Ironically the countries that could benefit from climate change are the ones that are causing it.

1 hours later 7075940 Anonymous
>>7075885 I don't think so. Do you remember Blumenau? After six months, you couldn't say there was a flood there. While this the flatheads in Petropolis were struggling to revert the natural damage after two years or so. We don't need to move because we work, prevent and revert this kind of thing. The precipitation change isn't too large, floods won't get absurdly more common.
