Is this a good service to prevent logging of torrent downloading? ITT: Seed boxes, VPN/S and services to mask what you are doing online (and other methods)

>prevent logging of torrent downloading do you know how torrenting works also get a vps or don't use anything at all every thing else is placebo

>VPN services Why you don't buy VPS and set openvpn over there. It's cheaper, more useful and more secure.

>>31005178 I know how P2P works, The site claims that it masks torrent traffic so that the ISP doesn't know what you are doing, I want to know if that is valid. >>31005190 Which VPS would you suggest?

10 min later 31005350 Anonymous
>>31005277 you probably can't even set up your vps or vpn properly so it does not leak your ip

11 min later 31005371 Anonymous
>>31005350 There must be a way to mask what you do online including torrenting.

37 min later 31005883 Anonymous
>>31005819 A vps is a virtual private server were you could install a VPN/ fucking anything a VPN by itself would be a service that could be prone to other people reading your traffic and shit

39 min later 31005916 Anonymous
>>31005883 So when the companies claim to not log your shit they are? I was looking at BTGuard's VPN would that not suffice?

OP, here is how it works. If you want a VPN, get AirVPN. Their client does not leak on its own, and the site is full of helpful tips on how to prevent leaking. Also, they do not store any logs of any kind. If you want a VPS, get some bitcoins and use bytesized. >Good speeds >Great Price >Seedboxes nearly have the capability of a full-fledged VPS. Now, how do you do this all transparently? >Get butcoins >Set up VPN >Pay butcoins through VPN to bytesized >Only use VPN when using bytesized >Rinse and repeat Mind you, that is fully tinfoil-on-head retarded, and it does not matter if anyone of any power was actually trying to track you down (they aren't), but that is the best way.

40 min later 31005941 Anonymous
>>31005916 why not just buy a vps and have your own VPN that you control often for a cheaper price? there's plently of guides brah. tbh all you need it a proxy though

>>31005190 VPS companies will sell you out to the cops.

>>31005976 I'm not wanted to run a cp internation ring or something. I am talking about torrenting games and movies shit like that.

>>31006099 So far from what I'm seeing on private tracker forums a seed box is the best for torrents, as long as it is in a country that could give two shits about US copyright law. But any evidence to the contrary would be greatly appreciated.

I don't use anything. I've been at this for about 6 years and I haven't had shit from my ISP or elsewise. They shut down my internet at my home when my mom got a virus that turned it into a spam email machine for fake viagra from canada on her laptop though.

>>31006356 me either but I have had unrelated federal attention, and would feel more comfortable with some way of concealing what I am doing.

>>31005932 >If you want a VPN, get AirVPN. Seconded. I have AirVPN now. I used to use ipredator, but AirVPN is cheaper and you get more servers.

1 hours later 31007079 Anonymous
>>31007045 so you just connect to the vpn, and when you download a torrent it will be through the vpn automatically? Are there different packages? or just one?

>>31006356 >Been torrenting for years >Never got a letter Feels good man

>>31007301 Enjoy while you can, sooner or later your ISP will be bullied into upgrading their network so they can more easily identify each one of their customers on their network.

I use utorrent. Downloaded about 150 movies/tv shows and 25 games. I only got 1 warning email for the movie Abraham lincoln vs Vampires, but that's about it.
