Sup, /fit/, soldierfag here. I've got a question for the military dudes in here. Is it possible to increase size/strength while still maintaining or even improving cardio and run times? I'm currently on a 5 day workout split during the week and still doing the regular PT (which normally is running), but I haven't been noticing too much in size improvements. I'm getting stronger but still feel like I need to fill out some more. I'm about 5'9'' 173 lbs right now. Now, how would I be able to work on size gains while at the same time decreasing my run time.

>>17011181 Yes it is possible but you must be ready to make sure that you are 110 percent dedicated. That means you need to eat more, lift harder, and sleep more to mitigate what running is going to do you. I personally found it easy to kind of cycle into 4 week bulking periods where I would say fuck PT and just lift my dick off then go back to maintenance lifting and try to get my run times back down. It will be hard but you can make gains without killing your run times.
