Whats /fit/ say about fruits? Are fruits off limits for someone cutting since all the carbs? Or is the fructose in them somehow different and breaks down in the body differently? Please /fit/ i looked everywhere its all mixed results and i need my bananas and oranges

Damn, I love fucking love dates. I'm guessing the reason for the high fructose in the dates, figs, and raisins are because of the added sugar?

I kinda want an answer too, my house always has bananas, oranges, and raisins. I was planning on them being Most of my cutting diet.

Fructose is not the only sugar found in fruit. Bananas for example have more glucose than fructose, which does spike insulin.

carbs are NOT A BIG DEAL, like really, they're hyped up way too fucking much. here's a general guideline to carb consumpation while cutting >don't eat white rice/wheat/processed sugary and/or starchy shit >do eat beans, brown rice, quinoa, fruit and veggies >don't eat more than 150g of carbs a day unless you do cardio >eat most of your carbs pre/post workout (weights or cardio)

Eat in moderation, but given the choice between pasta and fruit - fruit always wins. More filling and more nutritious. But, if you are subbing fruit for veggies you are shortchanging yourself. Nutritionally veggies have dramatically more vitamins and good shit in them than fruit and tiny amounts of sugar.
