What would be the scientifically correct way to stop Ebola until a vaccine is distributed?

People have been self-quarantining, which should be slowing it down a little... There seems to be some black-spots on the map though, being in two separated regions... Is the flu spread by bodily fluids too?

If there had been only one area, he would have found that suspicious. If there had been no outbreak at all, *suspicious.* Clouds and water and sunlight, suspicious, suspicious, suspicious. >>6759929 Stop transmission from bats to humans, and from humans to humans. It's pretty simple, but as in any country in the world we have morons who don't care about spreading disease. A large amount of Africans lack sufficient education, so they transmit malaria, and neglected tropical diseases. A significant amount of westerners are worthless scum, so they spread sexually transmitted diseases. It seems like Japan, again, is the master race, where the culture is that individuals where masks when ill so as to not infect others. This probably goes hand in hand with their approximate 105 average national IQ

In nature, we often see exponential growth (ex: rabbit population), however there is a limit to how much that population can grow. To answer OP's question- if this goes on much longer we'll have self-quarantined districts governed by heavily armed militias- these countries recently had brutal wars, plenty of those folks around. Fear and violence will keep people apart, allowing the virus to burn out in isolated areas. The violence will cause more deaths than the disease. The international health orgs will get it under control in major urban areas, but the countryside will be a burning, violent, disease ridden hellscape before long. The scientifically correct way would be to identify, quarantine, treat, and dispose. Exactly what they're trying to do now.
