>Project MKUltra is the code name of an illegal U.S. government human research operation experimenting in the behavioral engineering of humans through the CIA's Scientific Intelligence Division. The program began in the early 1950s, was officially sanctioned in 1953, was reduced in scope in 1964, further curtailed in 1967 and officially halted in 1973. The program engaged in many illegal activities; in particular it used unwitting U.S. and Canadian citizens as its test subjects, which led to controversy regarding its legitimacy. MKUltra involved the use of many methodologies to manipulate people's mental states and alter brain functions, including the surreptitious administration of drugs (especially LSD) and other chemicals, hypnosis, sensory deprivation, isolation, verbal and sexual abuse, as well as various forms of torture. >In 1973, with the government-wide panic caused by Watergate, the CIA Director Richard Helms ordered all MKUltra files destroyed. Pursuant to this order, most CIA documents regarding the project were destroyed, making a full investigation of MKUltra impossible. A cache of some 20,000 documents survived Helms' purge, as they had been incorrectly stored in a financial records building and were discovered following a FOIA request in 1977. These documents were fully investigated during the Senate Hearings of 1977. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proje ct_MKUltra https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipe dia/commons/0/01/ProjectMKULTRA_Sen ate_Report.pdf

Well, not really a "conspiracy theory", just a fact, is that in America, elections don't really matter because both groups people vote for are already bought ("lobbied") by corporations, they even support both candidates at the time, so who ever wins, is gonna work for them, corporations and bankers, first and then worry about the people. It's just sad to see that so many Americans don't know this very basic fact. Also, the petrodollar and the geopolitical wars engaged to defend it and the status quo, for some reason Americans believe it was because of "freedom" or "terrorism", both pretty much buzzwords at this point. Conspiracy theory I believe in? Pedowood.

not necessarily a conspiracy theory but i believe in the interconnectedness of everything and reincarnation which are things that, until recently, i've held as absolute bullshit

>>9487209 Not him but I believe in reincarnation in an obtuse sort of way. Matter can neither be created nor destroyed so your body which is made up of all sorts of elements will break down and get reused in all sorts of things. "You" essentially become something to nee again, albeit in small quantities. These new things in turn go through the sale process and eventually there's little bits of everything in everything.

The President is a figurehead, the real power is held by the Surveillance State. Democracy, if it ever existed in the US, is dead. >Russ Tice, a former intelligence analyst who in 2005 blew the whistle on what he alleged was massive unconstitutional domestic spying across multiple agencies, claimed Wednesday that the NSA had ordered wiretaps on phones connected to then-Senate candidate Barack Obama in 2004. >Speaking on "The Boiling Frogs Show," Tice claimed the intelligence community had ordered surveillance on a wide range of groups and individuals, including high-ranking military officials, lawmakers and diplomats. >"Here's the big one ... this was in summer of 2004, one of the papers that I held in my hand was to wiretap a bunch of numbers associated with a 40-something-year-old wannabe senator for Illinois," he said. "You wouldn't happen to know where that guy lives right now would you? It's a big white house in Washington, D.C. That's who they went after, and that's the president of the United States now." >>9487423 >He also participated in a CIA run behavioral engineering study, known as MKUltra, conducted by Dr. Henry Murray, an expert on stress interviews.[12] Students in Murray's study were told they would be debating personal philosophy with a fellow student.[13] Instead, they were subjected to a "purposely brutalizing psychological experiment"[13] stress test, which was an extremely stressful, personal, and prolonged psychological attack. During the test, students were taken into a room and connected to electrodes that monitored their physiological reactions, while facing bright lights and a one-way mirror. Each student had previously written an essay detailing their personal beliefs and aspirations: the essays were turned over to an anonymous attorney, who would enter the room and individually belittle each student based in part on the disclosures they had made. This was filmed, and students' expressions of impotent rage were played back to them several times later in the study. According to author Alston Chase, Kaczynski's records from that period suggest he was emotionally stable when the study began. Kaczynski's lawyers attributed some of his emotional instability and dislike of mind control to his participation in this study.[13][14] Indeed, some have suggested that this experience may have been instrumental in Kaczynski's future actions. Having a man make fun of you doesn't exactly constitute deadly gangster computer god frankenstein controls, though that's a pretty interesting historical tidbit.
