Minneapolis. I'm right on the border of being fucked in the ass by that gay volcano I'm already preparing for a shitty winter of rice and beans/nonperishables because my pops lost his job, so there's no income and we only have $250 in the bank. >>9336943 it's pretty cool to think about. There's no real strong popular opinion on if it will or wont. Some geologists say that it's actually cooling down. Others says it's going to happen in the next 100,000 years. Sensationalists take that figure to mean "ANY DAY NOW" though there's a better chance of you getting struck by lightning while getting attacked by a shark then actually living to see it. Texas. I'd get some ash but hopefully not enough to fuck shit up too much. The real concern is climate change and ash basically cutting the US in half, in that the east and west coasts are going to be unreachable by both road, train, and air. People would have to circle around south america to get to the other side. With the midwest out of the picture Texas could probably import food in from south america though. Mmmm cheap Brazil beef.

I think in Wisconsin we'd get about 6feet in ash falling everywhere. I'd have to keep the windows closed and wear a face mask for a long while. Shit would be closed down for a week or two up here so I wouldn't have to leave my apartment hopefully. And rain would wash the ash away I figure. Hopefully their vehicle will get them at least 300-400 miles before the engine is ruined if they plan ahead and get a few air filters before leaving.
