Greetings from Romania. In the past few days thousands of people protested and still protest against RMGC - Rosia Montana Gold Corporation, a Canadian company that wants to extract gold from a gold mine near the village Rosia Montana. They bought the land many years ago, but they lack the authorisation. Under Romania's law, all ground-based resources are the property of the state. There's a contract that was made in secret between the Canadian company and the state of Romania, which entitles RMGC to over 90% of all gold they would extract. But that's not even the tip of the iceberg. The Canadians intend to extract the gold using a process that involves cyanides. For those who don't know, the cyanides are a group of chemicals very toxic for human beings. Two grams of cyanide are enough to kill a human adult. And the Canadians are going to use tons of it. We can't allow such things to happen. But that's not the point of this post. I just wanted to make you aware. Aware to the fact that Canada is literal Devil. Pic related, the banner of anti-RMGC protesters.

/pol/ here. If you wanna hop on the Alex Jones Water Filter-Powered Express, Canada is apparently just as bad as the States. We just do a better job of hiding it on a visible world scale. It must be [insert group we dislike here]!!" For example, saying it was for student movements would mean discrediting that movement, and being able to jack up tuition freely and even have non-students support it because LOL DEY DESERVE IT CUZ DEY VIOLENCE. Or if they disliked separatists, they could say it was separatists and this is just reason for closer ties to the federal government and the protection they provide against "terrorists". To say it was an english person would be more reason to say that french culture must be protected, so Law 101 and its derivatives could be extended and enforced more strictly. That sort of shit. >Who would finance it? Finance what? Call a buddy who has a rifle, and say "shoot NEAR marois, but don't hit her". It costs nothing.
