>it just tastes like shit no matter what it is So? You do know that most young people don't drink because of the taste, right? They drink because its fun. If you wouldn't be such a pussy you would know

6 min later 8132124 Anonymous
when youre young the effects of alcohol are alot more fun than the taste. you can drink craft beer and wine when you're old, for now just do shots and drink cheap beer. try it, give it a chance.

>>8132060 >can't stand being around drunk people You don't have to enjoy getting fucked up to have friends, but you do have to learn to tolerate it. It's unreasonable to expect everyone to stay sober just so you'll be more comfortable.

>>8132060 >can't stand being around drunk people Holy fuck I know this feel. Drinking isn't for everyone OP. I got drunk once and it was fucking awful, didn't even puke or blackout or anything, just felt really uncomfortable. Don't be forced into doing something you don't want to do.

people who claim to dislike the taste of alcohol are pretty insufferable there is such a vast array of drinks if you cant find something you like then you are just choosing to be an outlier, its like saying you don't any vegetables

>>8132199 >just felt really uncomfortable. Poor you. For most people getting drunk feels good. Like its a warm fuzzy feeling of joy, being giggly and not giving a fuck (providing you are drunk while in a good mood)

>>8132242 Actually it makes perfect sense. "doesn't drink" and "browses /r9k/" is like the recipe for being emotionally retarded and without social skills. Learn to mix drinks, you aspie fuck. Buy some Captain Morgan or some other really sugary rum and mix a bunch of cherry coke with it. It's impossible not to like.

'sup OP, I'm a budding alcoholic, but I can vibe with your feel. You may want to loosen up a bit and let the alcohol take you, do crazy stupid shit (although get drunk alone a few times first to get all the drunk tears out [you'll now what I mean when it happens]). Although, if it isn't the lack of control that's bothering you, you have two options: find a different drug (I HIGHLY recommend mephedrone, and I mean HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY), or find new friends like you. Of course, you could also stay in and browse /r9k/, but, you know.

If there is something that not even the most open minded people tolerate, it's not drinking alcohol. You are an undesired outcast to every social group in the world, every single one. There is no explanation that you can give that will satisfy people, you're just "wrong".

Why does /r9k/ bash on anyone that says they don't like drinking? Not everyone wants to drink. I don't like the taste of alcohol, nor the social aspects of drinking in American society(get wasted, fuck bitches, #YOLO) so I do not drink. Why should OP or anyone conform to your opinion? I say don't go out with them if that's all they want to do. Better yet, find some new friends that don't let their social life revolve around alcohol. Don't abandon your old friends either in the process if they truly are good friends.

I used to drink 700ml whiskey a day for a year, Two triples in the morning, then I'd brush my teeth twice and chew gum. Went to Uni and got decent grades, then I just stopped, I wasn't physical dependent or anything. Haven't had a drink in over a year.
