Has anyone else had any weird coincidences or things like that? I had one >Dreaming about random shit I don't really remember >All of a sudden start dreaming about Jeremy Clarkson for no reason >Wake up and go downstairs >Top Gear is on TV which my mam would usually never watch >Freaked out

Jung called it Synchronicity, coincidences that have personal meaning to us. In the Hari Krishna's a Coincidence is a miracle and something used to strengthen your faith and make sure you give money. Shit happens and it doesn't always mean anything. Maybe the mind just has a bias for this type of thing.

>>6165907 I guess I got one for you guys from last weekend. >I was at Waterloo 2 hours early for our train. >Accompanied by gf, her father & his gf >As we're heading to the escalator to get to the balcony >I catch a glimpse of a very pale girl with light blonde hair, blue eyes. >She looks just like a friend of mine... >Send message to friend on FB. >Yup, she was there, but only on the underground for a change. >It wasn't her, but we were at the same station at the same time. That may not sound like a particularly peculiar coincidence, but here's the kicket: >We've never met in person >I'm Norwegian, from Norway >She's Dutch, from Holland >I only go to London 1-2 times per year >We live 2 hours from London >She only recently moved there to do MSc Econ >I met her on WoW 6-7 years ago She told me to let her know the next time we're coming around so we can meet up. For the arcanines... I met my gf on WoW. I've met people from all over Europe in person thanks to it. I stopped playing a while ago because the game doesn't do it for me and I'm both full time work and uni at once.

I'm sure know one will believe this, but I have drawn pictures three times that came true. It started when I was writing my husband a little lovenote. He was leaving for a fishing trip in Florida the next day. I wrote the usual silly things, and that I love him bla bla. Then, I decided to draw a funny pic. He was going down with three friends, so I drew them on a boat. One stick figure was puking over the side. Two more figures were holding small fish, looking disappointed. The fourth figure was reeling in a giant fish, looking very happy. It was a pretty generic picture. If I asked someone to draw a guy's fishing trip, I'm sure it would look a lot like the one I drew. So I wasn't that surprised when hubby called a few days later to talki about the fishing they had done. One friend drank too much the night before and was sick, the fishing hadn't been good EXCEPT that one friend had caught a Florida state record Mahi-Mahi. They made the cover of Sport Fishing magazine. Just a funny coincidence. Hubby's next trip was to Colorado, to visit family. I wrote another note, but I began to feel concern. I drew him in the car (a no brainer- it's quite a trip to Col.), but I put a big X on the passenger side tire. Not sure why, I didn't really think about it at th time. Then I drew a giant 'like a boss' figure. Hubby saw the pic, and said a sarcastic,"thanks". I just said, "be careful", and gave him a kiss. For some reason I was really upset. Hubby travels for work about once a month, so it pratically routine. But this time I was actually teary-eyed. Continue>>>

>>6173622 Continued>>> Two days later I get a call. Hubby is broke down in Kansas. The passenger side air suspension went out (or something like that). He was no where near a hotel, but the tow guy knew of a KOA camp ground a few miles down. There was nothing else around for at least thirty miles. Hubby said, "take me to the KOA", and grabbed his camping gear out of his car. In the morning he managed to track down the part he needed, and had it shipped to Podunk Kansas the next day. The car got fixed and he was on his way. Now, lots of people have car problems on road trips, and hubby takes a lot of trips. Another coincidence, just like the first pic. I mentioned it to my sister, and we laughed about it. She asked me to draw her a pic, she was leaving in a few days on a girls trip to Chile. We laughed and I drew a stereotypical Mexican, with a sombrero and poncho yelling 'hola'. My sister said, "a Mexican in Chile?". My response was, "he's a steriotypical South American person". Of course I was joking. I drew a monkey in a palm tree next to him. Sis said, no monkeys where they were going. Continued>>>

>>6173824 I drew the beach, and someone laying on the ground. The foot didn't look right (I was just jotting it all down with a pen), so I tried to make it look better. I thickened the lines for the ankle and foot. Still not right, I scribbled the lines, tearing the paper a little. The foot and ankle became a boot. My sister said, "what's up with the foot?". I simply said, "watch where you step!" And we laughed at that. She took the pic, and left a few days later. She was gone for ten days, but it was two weeks before we could get together for dinner. We were all sitting together, eating and joking when Sis said sarcastically,"hey thanks for the drawing, so-and-so fell on the beach and messed up her ankle. You cursed us!". Hubby looked shocked. He said, "she did the same thing to me too! On that's god-awful trip to Colorado!". There is silence for a second, then sis asked me, "what else did you draw?". Without missing a beat hubby said,"so-and-so catching the monster Mahi". A few days later, me and sis are at our moms house. Sis mentioned the coincidence of the funny pics. Mom said when she was a child, folks used to talk about her grandmother 'Havin' the gift'. People would say she could predict things. Mom didn't know any particular stories, but she said my uncle would know a few. I didn't call my uncle. I haven't drawn anymore pics. It creates too many questions. I know none of you believe this, but thats ok. It felt good to tell someone, anyone.

>>6166529 I've heard of that happening, especially when people learn a new word. I hear the reason is that you're mind is like, attuned to the word since you've recently heard it/learned it, so you recognize it easier when you wouldn't before.
