>tfw you live in a lesser known country to the world and everytime someone mentions it on a movie or something you get excited I sometimes wonder how it is to be american, it must feel like being the protagonist of a movie, everyone knows you, everyone talks about you, everyone knows everything about you (and all these things can be positive and negative). Maybe similar things can be said about other big countries like England, Germany or Japan, but for the rest of us it feels like being the extra in said movie, not even a secondary character. However I don't really think nationality matters much, great people can be found in any country, but it's still curious how I still find myself surprised if my country is referenced in some international media.

>>4670245 I think Canadians are slightly better off then Americans. But the best part about being a Canadian is living on a border town and going to the U.S to shop. The exchange rate almost doesn't exist. Also from my experience Canadians don't act as entitled about things "MUH FREEDOMS, MUH RIGHTS" I mean, they do, but it doesn't seem as bad.

1 hours later 4670305 Anonymous
>>4670264 Canadians, to Americans, are like a little brother. We make fun of them sometimes, but they were more or less raised the same and unless someone has a really stereo-typically thick use of their "aboots" and "ehs" you can't even tell if someone is from the great big empty north.

1 hours later 4670311 Anonymous
>>4670245 I actually really like it. It is like being American but you dont have to deal with nearly as much radical "MURRICA" shit as you do in the states. I also really enjoy Canadian winters, but I guess the northern states get basically the same shit. We also pay more for shit here, which kind of sucks, but on the flip side we have better social services/safety nets. If I ever became rich though I'd for sure move to the states. Living in the US when you're poor compared to rich is like living in an entirely different country.

(Seriously, how did they fuck the population up so much, given that you're not on the level of Romania or ex-Yu, you were supposed to be a major European power, and you've come to this? You people were once cool.)

>>4670212 You know what's funny? OP here, and I'm from Argentina. People usually like to brag about how ball point pen was created by an argentinian... in fact, it was an hungaria who moved to Argentina (and apparently created the ball point pen here). here's the good part I live in Argentina but my heritage is hungarian maybe I'm destined to be lesser known in every aspect... and use ball point pens.
