>work hunting >this is looks interesting >"requires degree that takes two years to finish or five years experience." >pastry shop >oh, well how about this then >"you have to have a burning passion, highly sociable, and love to work! Also you need two years experience." >shop clerk >wait, that over there looks really good, I'd really enjoy doing that >"requires degree that takes two and half year to finish or five years experience" >gardener >actually find something where I might get employed >1) it goes to an experienced person, 2) it goes to a woman for equality, 3) it goes to an immigrant for diversity Forty years ago my father was sixteen and signed up on a ship deckhand. No previous experience, no degree, no nothing. He saw the world. I was sick of school at 16 and would have loved to do the same. Unfortunately, his generation had decided that you first had to be 20 and secondly also needed to have two degrees in preparation, so I couldn't do that. Instead I wasted many years in high school where my grades got lower and lower and graduated in the wake of the economic collapse. I hate the modern Western civilisation so much it's hard to describe. It's not a burning hatred, it's more of a hate that has been so intense that it created a perfect diamond of hate that has replaced my heart. I'm glad it's collapsing. I hope China allies the crazy Muslims and invades Europe and all other Western nations and slaughter us all. I'd like to see it all burn. A lot of people say there's going to come an even bigger economic collapse, maybe as early as by the end of this year. They say it'll be many times worse than the Great Depression. I hope so. Just the thought of seeing the people who are pleased at how the world is today starve in the streets fills me with joy. Let it be, God. Let it be.

I know exactly what you mean, its fucking ridiculous. My grandfather worked all over the place as a young man, at a logging camp etc. He went to college for agriculture, dropped out and worked for my countries foreign service. He's been around the world...he doesn't understand why I can't just go and do that.

>>3859732 It's not even the economic arena that has problems like this. To do fucking ANYTHING AT ALL you have to jump through a thousand hoops of regulation and paperwork. I work at a mational park atm, and to just go in the park and look at trees and shit you need a park pass (which only lasts a day). You need a back country pass to actually go in the woods, you need a back country camping pass to camp in the woods, you're not allowed to have ANY campfires unless you use the little stoves at the non-back country camping campsite (which you need a normal camping permit to get) (what the fuck) no alcohol, pretty much NO FUN. What the fuck, why can't you just bop around in the woods, have a few drinks and a nice little campfire without paying a billion dollars in passes and shit? The fuck. I'm so sick of how everything is so tightly controlled. I mean, I realize that regulations help keep our food safe, prevent stupid people from ruining everything for everyone, but goddammit there's gotta be limits.

take the requirements with a grain of salt. if you were an employed you'd want the best you can get but that isn't always realistic. if it's a simple enough job apply anyway you might be surprised. Im working in archeology but i dont even have post secondary or work xp.

No cold calling or any sales bullshit (although we DO have sales positions open as well) it's a complicated system to explain in a single post, but you would be assigned a certain amount of client accounts and you help them get their insurance/audits/paperwork shit straight so they can go and work at the bigger client sites (think BP, Suncor, BASF and other giant employers) http://www.picsauditing.com/ you MIGHT be asked to transition to a night shift to match the business hours of Italy, but that woulndt be for a while. You'd get started on US clients go take a look at the site and let me know if you think you can do it. starting pay is 17$/h

>>3860968 Good that you're still in the thread. So basically you prepare accounts for clients in a form that larger firms organize their own accounts to make it easier for the client to work with larger firms? If I understand correctly then I'm in luck as I have just started an Accounting class for my Business Administration degree, and I am fluent in the basic tenets of accounting and their terminology. This is exciting. I absolutely believe I could do the job. I would like to share contact info so we could further hash out all the details. Four years ago when I posted on /b/ that the world economy would go into a depression worse than the Great Depression I got called an idiot, laughed at, people said I was wrong and it was only a recession and asked if I even watched the news. I told them they were all idiots and that four years from now it would be hard to find people that would still be on their side. Guess I was right. And yes, the economy is going to collapse and you're all fucked if Iran goes to war with the U.S. because that means WW3 with Russia and China. Tarpley.net is a good site to keep up with all this, just click world crisis radio for the weekly broadcast and watch the videos on the front page.

Here's the solution for all of you who are afraid to apply for jobs with "requires 5 years experience" and other dumb requirements: lie your ass off. Seriously, employers don't even see you as a human being. To them you're nothing more than a source of labor, income and ideas. Lie to them, deceive them, use them. There's no reason to treat them with any human decency, because they sure as fuck aren't going to treat you with any.

If you just need cash, here's a quick and dirty way to get some good money. Get a duffel full of stencils and spray paints. Go door to door and offer to repaint the curb house number in a color they like, maybe even with their sport team stenciled in, for $5. Honestly, I had about a 50% success rate. If they say no, just say thank you for your time and go to the next house. If they say yes, collect $5, do two minutes of work, move to the next house. I could do about 15 hours an hour, 50% success rate, made about $40/hour. I did that from 11am-2pm, took a break for lunch, 2:30pm-6pm. You can make a whole lot of dosh. The problem is that after you do a neighborhood, they're pretty much good to go for the next two years, so it's not very renewable, but I paid for college by doing this in the summer.
