All my life I've been trying to be something I'm not. I joined the Football, track, wrestling teams, Mathletes, the Firefighters, Military College. All these manly macho shit, that a spaz like me had no business on. I could never be an athlete, at best I could work myself up to retard strength.
In Malcolm in the Middle, theres an episode where Reese joins the cheerleaders to impress a girl, and Malcolm says "you join the football team stupid". But actually Reese was right, shes a cheerleader. And it was stupid of me to take this 1950s attitude that if I could succeed in guyworld, I'd be a hero in girlworld.
On the football team this guy asked me about girls. And I said I was the protector of White Womanhood. He said I might as well admit I was gay. I got back at him passive-aggressively, by intentionally letting his sister see fake-wrong answers on my test when she cheated off me.
In college I went to PUA boot camp and instead of inspiring me, it just got me depressed about living in a cruel world, where girls are bio-designed to reward evil men who hurt them.
I want to live the r9k life. I want to be an emotional tampon, safe friendzone. A shoulder to cry on. I want girls to be able to talk to me like a brother. True one should cherish a FRIENDSHIP, but it should really only be done by their own accord rather than after getting rejected by someone they really have a huge amount of attraction to and thus placed into the 'friendzone'. I don't have negative attitudes towards girls. I have the same opinion of guys. I can't see what benefit having people around all the time provides.
I lived with roommates in my early twenties when I was in undergrad. Even though I really liked them, I was always happiest when I had the house to myself. Now I have an entire house to myself and love it.
What you describe (messaging her every day, going out on friday and staying over on weekends) sounds horribly time consuming with little to no benefit.
The only benefit would be sex, which I would only really want a few times a week anyway. The time investment required would not make it worthwhile in the slightest.

I'm introverted too. I work retail and I come home from work exhausted not because the work is hard but because I've had to deal with soooo many people. I get back to my dorm from class and just want time alone. But I can spend all day with my boyfriend and still not feel exhausted.

Ironically, I'm an extrovert. I'm incredibly social and dominant if you put me in a crowded room. But being an extrovert or good with people doesn't mean I find any benefit in social interaction.
I get more than enough social interaction at work.
I don't see what benefit having another person around the house brings to my day to day function, regardless of how well I get along with them.
