And that's why all of us read and heartily enjoy fanfiction!

>>9024904 What news do you want? We know it'll be 26 episodes, the first two will be a two-parter that includes Twilight dealing with Princess and/or Alicorn status and/or something unexpected resulting from S3E13, Rarity will get (an) episode(s) again, the crew is hyped up about it, and it'll likely premiere in sept/oct/nov just like all the others have

>>9025139 Do we actually know that? For all we know, the two episodes Meghan was talking about could be later in on the season. And the book covered Twilight's princess hood quite well. There's not much learning left. Season 4 hasn't even been green lighted yet. It's possible that they pull out in the last second and cancels the show. The crew has no way of knowing that yet and are working as if there will be a next season. But we don't know if Hasbro will be kind enough for us. If Equestria Girls is a failure, they might give up on FIM and season 4.

You mean, other than it sucking balls because Twilicorn?

>>9025357 She said she considers S3E13 to be the first of three episodes. That doesn't explicitly rule out it occurring later in the season but that would certainly be odd. Ingram already has S4 listed on his resume. If you think Hasbro is going to pull the plug on this incredible success, you have literally lost your mind. You don't destroy your OP just because a spin-off fails. Their stockholders would pillage corporate headquarters if they did something that stupid.

>>9025357 You've missed a few things. Like at least part of S4 already being in the can. They were already writing S4 stuff while S3 was rolling out, and with the lag time between animation and release, odds are nearly 100% that somewhere in DHX, there's a copy of S4 1-2 already in the can and being polished for the public. Pester McCarthy enough and they might even confirm it for you.

>>9025453 Nah. Hasbro won't pull the plug on S4. As noted by >>9026201 ,at least part of the season is likely ready to go already, and you don't shit on your best-selling line. Especially considering how much you invested in rolling it out in Japan and all the new stuff shown off in NYC at the toy show, etc. etc. EG might actually have an effect on S5 like it did S3- if it's shitty enough, they might try and skimp again on episodes to help make up for the loss on what looks to be a truly fuck-ugly piece of work.

>>9026234 Skimp on episodes? S3 13 episodes had nothing to do with skimping, just the syndication mark and what they contracted for.
