Writefag here. I just wanted an opinion for a story I'm going to write: It's human in Equestria but it's about a human by a summoning spell gone bad, and he's taken in care by Lyra. Months pass and she starts getting feelings for him, but he falls for a different pony and she starts to lose her mind. The question is do I do the same style use and go with Anon in Equestria or do I give the guy a face?

I prefer HiE,anon seems to have too many connotations to 4chan

The Anons in AiE And FR, by extension don't actually have no face. They're depicted that way because the reader is supposed to imagine Anon how he or she wants. But there's nothing stopping you from describing a face, hair, etc and still calling him Anon. He's your character, and, like I said, green faceless Anon isn't canon to the stories. Just a placeholder.

>>9024716 I've been on 4chan so long, Anonymous has actually become a character in his/her own right for me. When I read AiE, I don't actually self insert, but recognise Anonymous as this unique character. That Anon image dump earlier today was great for that. In extension, I really can't stand self insert characters, HiE frequently erks me when they reveal their name is "Kevin" or something. Self inserts just rip me out of the story.
