Seaponies, again. It was bound to happen knowing Hasbro. And we have the book about seaponies sending us a clear message. I don't know what to make of this. There's too much crap going on around FIM at this time. I don't think I can handle seaponies in season 4. It'll be too much for me. They just had to bring the show back to its previous generations. The mere thought of it makes me vomit.

Like Gilda for example or griffons in general. The creators have a whole continent/planet/whatever and whole lot of history that is yet to be revealed. I really don't see the rest of your argument either, griffons have been mentioned in every season so far, dragons pop up often, Timberwolves have appeared twice, if you count the comic there's diamond dogs and cockatrice reappearing and changelings are expanded upon... >They are ugly and weird. I also thought the ponies themselves were ugly when I started watching, look how that turned out.

S3 already had much more continuity references and even experimented a new narration scheme with the Pets and the Olympic games episodes. Now if sea ponies it is, it's to see if they will receive a special attention in a season premiere/finale or some sort of special mission, or if they just pop out in a more casual episode. I simply hope that Aquastria or the eventual Seaponies kingdom is explored a bit, after all they're helpful as can be ponies, simply signal SOS
