good evening, I am writing a 10 page essay on how adult males who like MLP do demonstrate masculinity. I have some points down although I feel like there are more that I may have missed. What other masculine qualities do you guys contain? I hope I don't sound offensive. It has to be a counter argument essay about how "girly" it is for men to be interested in things that are socially constructed as feeminine. I am trying to explain that just because a man is into such things, does not mean he should be socially emasculated and they actually do contain masculine traits. Thank you for the help!

Essays with a forgone conclusion are a waste of time. Please see http://www.paulgraham.com/essay.htm l If you are on the other hand just doing this for school grades, stick to the standard format. Get a bunch of quotes and citations from other people and don't do any actual thinking or original research yourself.

You first have to define Masculinity. Also consider it will be a different answer for everyone. To me it means you do what you want and if anyone thinks otherwise can kiss my ass.

You mean as a whole, or do you want specific examples? As a whole, I can only think of one - the same reason a guy would wear a pink shirt, gaudy shoes, and act provactively at a bar - to get into a fight.
