Anyone else here not attracted to gender extremes? I always found excessive makeup on girls to be kinda gross and smelly, and I always found guys who try too hard to be butch are a real turn off. (I'm bi/pan mtf) Anyone else here attracted almost exclusively to people who naturally exhibit characteristics that betray their birth gender? Another thing - There are so many non- and barely-passable MTFs on 4chan and Reddit that delude themselves into believing they can go with the runway look, or think red/dark lipstick and frilly lacy clothes don't make them look like a clown. Not every girl is pretty - and definitely not every transwoman is pretty. There's more to life than wanting to be an anime girl. Why don't more mtf women, especially hon-tier ones, go for androgynous/unisex styles? It's a a lot less grief than beating yourself up for not looking like a goddess. FTMs seem to be better at this.

The problem is that to look androgynoues as a male you have to go full trans, with women is easier (no makeup, short hair, and male clothes)

>>6010502 >Why don't more mtf women, especially hon-tier ones, go for androgynous/unisex styles? Umm...Because people already treat them like shit for looking androgynous? Because dysphoria? It's not that hard to understand. Maybe if cis people weren't such assholes about it, they'd be more comfortable with looking andro.

Op we should fuck. I feel the exact same way and always thought I was alone.

>>6010577 >if other people don't accept me then I must change myself to fit their standards People need to acquire real self confidence before they try to fuck themselves up. The problem is only ever you the individual not society.

>exhibit characteristics that betray their birth gender This is a pet peeve of mine. When you use "betray" in that context, it essentially means "reveal". As in, >He tried to stay composed, but his eyes betrayed his anger. themoreyouknow.gif

>>6010612 People generally feel that way, yeah. That's how humans are and it's society's fault that people feel pressued into changing themselves. They even passively encourage and enforce such bullshit in most cultures. Besides, this isn't just about shallow beauty standards, this is about how harshly someone is treated when they fail to conform. Try saying that pseudo intellectual bullshit and acting all self righteous when you're at a high risk of being assaulted, harassed, and discriminated against because of your appearance.

>>6010850 Someone is treated badly because they're stupid enough to try to conform? Sounds like the real world. You can't be something your not no matter how delusional you are. Grow up and learn how the real world works tumblr bitch. Your just victimizing vulnerable people.

>>6010612 For many, it's less a lack of confidence and more the presence of pragmatism. If you want your workplace/customers/etc to take you seriously, you have to present an image that might be overcompensating by your yardstick.

I guess if we can consider androgynity to be more than just feminine looking people, sure. To me Tom Hardy has a sense of the androgyny because he has a balance between being a soft and hard man. So I guess it would be the other side of the androgyne spectrum.

There was a short time where i had fetish and fantasy to be feminized into a bimbo while i dated a really masculine women, it s called gender role reversal, even found this blog of a really good artist who is into the same thing and created a world where the genders switch bu he doesnt update often enough, http://eves-rib.blogspot.com/

I'm mtf and have embraced the androgynous way. It's much easier, I even chose a unisex name. I find I don't get called sir or miss, whereas when I tried to pass I got misgendered a shit tonne and it just sucks. If you can pull off full fem then good for you, I'd love too also but I'll take looking like a dyke or femboy as a consolation.

Im kind of a mix of androgynous and femme in my clothing choice, but still, the andro look is great for when i cba with typically femme clothes. its a nice little sort of 'chill' stage for me

MtF here, listen going andro is the smart thing to do unless sometime down the road you start failing boymode. Doesn't mean you should slack off on your body language and all of that. If people just think you're a huge fag what the fuck ever. If you start failing boymode congrats you made it now start trying.

>>6011589 Men wouldn't wear heels in that universe. They were designed to compliment the female body shape and wouldn't do anything for men.

4 hours later 6011834 Anonymous
>>6011745 Heels were originatelly worn by men, actually. All they do is make your legs look longer and your ass look bigger, many men can benefit from that, like manlets as they tend to have short legs and long upper bodies

>>6011728 People on here are super critical too. I have been told variously, "super cute", "you look like a child", "you are too thin", "you look andro", and any number of other things. At the end of the day though, what matters is that when I am just wearing jeans and a tshirt I get called ma'am or miss exclusively now whereas a 2 years ago I was exclusively called sir wearing the same exact things.
