Why do trannies always pick retarded ass faggy homo poopoo names when they change their gender? Instead of calling themselves things like >Amy >Laura >Anne >Linda >Tess they pick stupid shit that no one's even heard of such as >Candy Darling >Krystal >Kandi >Baby Dee >Jazz >Jazzmyn I thought trannies wanted to be women, not what five year old homosexual little tootsy boys think women are. I swear if I ever see another hon call themselves Sapphire or Sweetheart I will slap the shit out of them for being the perverted homosexual male they are. Fucking faggots.

I've never met anyone with names like that, anyways. OP's examples sound more like drag queen stage names.

>>5008838 eh, i bet if everyone was asked to change their name, you'd get a lot of retarded names picked. i think it just has to do with people in general having poor taste, but most people just stick with what their parents gave them. it's kinda different picking a name for yourself vs. your kid.

My male name is colby. Its kind of unisex and i dont hate it but I'm wondering if I should change it or maybe change the spelling to colbie? I have met a few girls with the name colby spelt with a y and that one singer has her name spelt like that. Thoughts? Should I keep it? It would probably be convenient for family and friends. Also what middle name would go good with it? On an unrelated note, my dad and I were sitting on the porch and we heard the woman behind us screaming at her daughters to stop fighting and their names were colby and cailin, which are exactly the same as me and my sister. Spoopy stuff.

>>5009320 Other people said it did. I always thought it sounded girly even since I was little. I still hate it. Hate it hate it hate it hate it. But I can't imagine hearing a different name when people are referring to me. But thanks, that's another thing I can be insecure about I guess.

>>5009366 I have a cousin named Crystal, but my family is Spanish, so that might be a bad example. She's cis, of course. I'm the only degenerate. I just went with "Sarah". It's popular for my birth year, and I like the sound of it. My second choice was "Ruby", but that's less conmon, and not as low-key.

>>5009330 It's sort of semi masculine, like a 6.5/10, 10 being masculine, 5 being unisex and 0 being a boring feminine name. Nothing wrong with having a sort of unisex name though. It's easier for girls to pull off unisex names.

3 hours later 5009465 Anonymous
Personally, I don't mind my birth name.. it's short, simple, and has a nice ring to it.. When I was going about figuring out what I'd prefer to be called that was also a feminine name I wanted to keep those qualities.. Unfortunately, there isn't a female version of my birth name and all the ones that share the same qualities are snowflakie as fuck but I'm still super fond of them.. However, as I don't wanna stick out like a sore thumb, once I come out to the rest of my family and friends I probably won't be using those names anyways..

>>5009366 I'm biased, since my brother's mother's name is Grace and she's a psychopathic condescending bitch, but Emily is a much nicer name... in my opinon.... Grace just reminds me of some old crabby cunt, like my brother's mother.. for example.

>>5009349 Alice is my cats name. That'd be weird. But maybe you're right. I do want to but I wouldn't know what to go with and I wouldn't want people trying to call me by my old name out of spite. This way they can't spite me except with pronouns, in which case I just misgender them.

>>5008838 I think you're mixing drag queens (transvestites) with actual transgender women. All the transgender women I know take regular names like Ashley, Steph, Aly, etc. Drag queens are trying to play it up. Most transgender people just try to blend in like everyone else and you usually never notice them.

Meh. Because the world is filled with special snowflakes, it's not unique to any one group. Ftm. My grandmother adopted me after my parents disowned me, and she chose my new name. Logan (from her uncle) and the middle name Lee (the middle name of every man on her side of the family.) I don't feel like my name is in any way better than anyone else, though. I mean, yeah. Some names are typical, but there are always names that are going to be popular. I'd give a woman a weird look for naming herself "Kandi" or "Jazzmyn", but it's not really my business. It's tacky, but it's like seeing tacky looking girls in college. I might think they look terrible, but there's nothing I could or /should/ do about it. They dressed themselves, and I'm not their parents.
