Eh, she just wants her kid to be gay, her reasons are misguided - she could just supplant her view that being gay gave her a better worldview with being a good parent. I'd be mad if she was suggesting some sort of pre-conversion therapy but for straight people but otherwise who cares.

I don't like it when people push their sexuality on everyone around them, including their children. Maybe instead of wanting your kid to be gay you should be accepting of whatever your kid ends up as.

Considering there's no way to manipulate a fetus' sexual orientation, it's a moot point. Why get upset merely because someone wants this to be the outcome? They have no control over it regardless. At any rate, I don't care. Parents are already allowed to indoctrinate their children with religious extremism and even go as far as to refuse vaccinations, thereby putting other people at risk. If parents can get away with that, then why would anybody be concerned about this? Why are we now suddenly taking the moral high ground? You may as well make it illegal for parents to pass their religious values onto their children while you're at it.
