In the shortest way I can put this, people vary wildly regardless of sex; the question should not be based on "which sex," it's based on race, nationality, religion, economic status, beauty, AND sex (among other things) in the context of time and immediate cultural climate. "Which sex is better" is like asking "are apples or oranges better;" it just depends.

I'd say it's split into two categories, living as in going about your day and grooming etc., and then socially Living and going about your day is much easier while being a male. You really don't have to prepare for much of anything, you just go out and go about your business, where as being female you're constantly the center of attention especially if you're young and somewhat attractive Socially I'd say being male is harder, there's much more expected of you, like success intelligence wealth etc., being female not so much

Depends. Rather than men or women having it easier, it's easier to just say attractive people have it easier than unattractive people. A transman/woman who hates their body and themselves isn't going to put a lot of effort into how they look and will probably also be socially stunted from always feeling at least a little bit uncomfortable. If they transition (and pass well enough) and start caring about how they look, start feeling good about themselves, start being more social and happy, they are going to have an easier life as their desired gender because they naturally become more attractive. There are differences between being a man and a woman, but in developed countries they really aren't much different in terms of how much they much easier/harder they make it for someone, it really comes down to attractiveness. In developing countries, again it's not so much men vs women for difficulty so much as power/wealth vs powerless/poor. The poor girls are married off to be raped by powerful (more powerful than her own family at least), the poor boys are sent off to die in war to being the powerful more power. The poor women work in the house popping out babies, the poor men work 12+hours a day in a factory with no safety regulations.
