How gay do you look at first glance? Do you make gaydars tingle easily? I always found it embarrassing how gay I seem. I'm quite butch and androgynous, plus I have short hair, and people think that equals lesbian.

I like to think I don't come off gay at all but doubt it. Wear tight pants, avant garde pieces. Everyone knows I suck Dick before I speak, probably. But I will continue to brood and look tired.

I dress pretty femme most of the time, so at first glance no one can tell I'm a lesbian. People assume I'm this really dainty and cute straight girl. Then they talk to me and realize I have a guyish personality and male mannerisms. After that point some people can tell and ask me if I'm gay.

29 min later 3011580 Anonymous
I'm in gender questioning and no matter what gender I am I come off as gay. Too femme for a man, too butch for a woman. I'm bi so they're right no matter what.

I act pretty gender neutral, but I have a masc voice and have masc body language so most people are surprised when I tell them I'm gay

I feel as if I'm in this weird in between myself. I wear a binder, and i hate skirts, but still love bright colors and big girly hair. It's odd. I guess most people don't think I'm gay at first, just a tomboy.

I am ashamed to say I like plaid. I sit very unladylike and don't usually wear much make-up or do anything with my hair. I got self-conscious and kept my hair long for awhile hoping that would offset how gay I seemed but >mfw have long hair and cashier calls me sir

>>3011447 MtF trans but in the closet. People joke and say I "look like a lesbian" when I present myself as a guy. They think it's an insult, but they actually raise my self-esteem quite a bit. I know I'm doing something right with my appearance at least. Butch lesbians give me the stink-eye too, and are immensely rude to me. It's really sort-of hilarious. I'm not even attracted to women.

The word "delicate" was tossed around too. Some friends mentioned how my voice has changed a lot recently. I assume that's a side effect from all of the vocal training and extreme weight loss. The hairless body, tousled hair, girly perfume and scant facial hair seems to indicate femininity a bit too. I mean who knew right? I asked a friend of mine a few days ago if she could tell I'm not a regular straight guy from a glance. Her response was basically >pic and "obviously yes. Are you serious? Yes.
