Please post classical or folk music from your own culture. Here is my favorite Japanese musical arrangement. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyGa K1FR6gU&t=3m47s My favorite Mongolian musical piece. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1J9P pNSaGjc The Chinese choir version of the Mongolian piece above. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrbN cwcETHs I also lived some in America, so here is my favorite American "folk" song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZxN kS0w5g8 All musics and cultures welcome. But try to keep it traditional, or true to your nationality.

An interesting thing about American folk is that the source material (or even older recordings) are often re-arranged and done by another artist due to the fact that most of them originate as either a capella songs or even just stories and legends - and sometime the new versions depart quite a bit from the roots. Take for example, the song known most commonly as "God's Gonna Cut You Down". Recorded by Odetta in 1956, this is a good recording of the most "traditional" version of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wE dCeJqddI Recorded by the Blind Boys of Alabama as "Run On" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7t DVTrl9IA Recorded by Johnny Cash in 2003: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJl N9jdQFSc A 1999 version by Moby: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrB GUqNBEgE
