How does your country feel about muh freedum bots? Do you find them unethical? Would you support your country's use of them? Why is the US the only country that seems to be utilizing them?

I don't get why we call them drones. They're not autonomous, there's a guy in a tent somewhere piloting them by remote.

The 4-inch (10-centimeter) -long helicopter is fitted with a tiny camera which relays still images and video to a remote terminal. >It said the Hornet was developed by Norway's Prox Dynamics AS as part of a 20 million-pound ($31 million) contract for 160 units with southern England's Marlborough Communications Ltd. When they perfect these, it's gonna be the ultimate spy-bots.

>>8297067 >Why is the US the only country that seems to be utilizing them Other countries do have drones, but to utilize drones to their full potential is much harder than simply building the drones themselves which really isn't all that hard. The hard part is have a robust communications network that can control the drones from halfway across the world in the middle of a combat zone and in gathering the intel needed to actually make use of them.

For example, what's going on in Pakistan, Yemen, and a number of other countries that we are not at war with...it seems almost acceptable to be flying drones over rather than fighter jets...even though it's six of one, half dozen of another. I also feel that it's only a matter of time until our gobmint OPENLY begins monitoring citizens within our boundaries with them. I know many people favor them for law enforcement...but that's a slippery slope, man. I may sound like a foil hat but...this is Murrica...
