As for Kaddafy, his account at terrorism and blowing up planes put him on the kill list of lot of govts. He was however royally receivet at Paris, because it was what he asked in exhange of the bulgarian nurses hostages, and he thought that this acceptance would put him out of the kill zone, but misjudged.

At the time it was a good thing. Due to incompetence, political dickwaving, mismanagement, and general idiocy, what needed to be done was never done, and now the Iraqis suffer for it. Even in its inception the whole affair was almost entirely cocked up.

Iraqi here, the end of the ba'ath regime was tthe best that ever happened to Iraq since they took power. Most of you guys are brainwashed by anti-american propoganda. The relative chaos that exists now is because of the backwardness of arabs when influenced by iranians and on the other side by islamists. Most of the iraqi's love the US liberating them. You guys wouldb't understand and are crying about fallujah babies, while those bastards at fallujah deserved it for being retarded, backwards, extremists, terrorists, dangerous and morons.

Also, the reason why people are wearing burqa's is a new movement that started somewhere in the 60's in Iraq. I've heard enough stories about baghdad and other cities in those golden years. Iraqi government is quite secular, but the lowest classes of people aren't. Those are the ones with sectarian violence, ofcourse brainwashed by fundamentals. They in no way represent iraqi's The kurds in particular are very free in their thoughts and looking forward. While relatively secular (islamic party has 1% votes in kurdish parliament. other parties are secular and represent the great great majority. i hate the way Iraq is portrayed wrongly in the media and is used as an argument against USA.

Most people will say "oil lol" but they're wrong. Bush just wanted to fuck more shit up. That entire administration was full of corrupt wastrels who decided they wanted to be America-saving superheroes post-9/11. They declared a "War on Terror", invaded Afghanistan (justified), and then wanted some other flashy thing to do because the covert ops necessary to thwart terrorism weren't visible to the public and weren't winning them any popularity. So they thought back to the Kuwait War, had a hunch that Saddam was up to something, manufactured some bullshit intelligence to back it up, and invaded, figuring it'd be quick and easy like Afghanistan seemed to be at the time. I really do think it's the lowest point in our country's history.

>>8049382 I really believe that they honestly thought Saddam was up to something. I just think they didn't put very much effort in to coming up with or verifying that because they were really itching to blow shit up to boost their popularity. Keep in mind that a lot of Bush's staff were members of his dad's and Reagan's administrations, two Presidents who loved invading places for stupid reasons just for the fun of it.
