Sometimes. Sometimes there will be a person (usually female) who REALLY looks like their race, but 75% I have no fucking clue, I just use context clues- for example if its an asian dude manning a liquor store I assume he's korean.

i think i can most of the time. i don't know how to explain it properly but koreans have different facial patterns from the 2 other countries. koreans look more round faced , chinese (my favs) look more bitter(i don't know how to describe it :S) and the japs have half circle eyes.

I have a hard time believing they really are distinguishable from each other, since when I went with my friend to China, people talked to her in Chinese, in Korea people talked to her in Korean and in Japan they talked to her in Japanese (when the same people talked to me in their broken English, so it's not because they didn't know any other language, it's because they assumed she was from their country). She is of Vietnamese origin, by the way.

Chinese - there are a lot of different kinds (see: size of China) so it's harder to give a "general" description but they tend to have larger, rounder eyes than other Asians, usually rounder faces than that of the Japanese Korean - non-plastic surgery Koreans have smaller eyes than other Asians, square-ish jaws Japanese - sharp jaw, eyes are more almond-shaped and medium sized eyes also accent

I dunno how to explain it, but identifying Chinks, Gooks, and Japs apart is easy for me. And its not as if all Chinese are stereotypical Han. Southern Chinks have brownish skin compared to the ones up north.
