we have lots. Most of the English words for native tribes in America are the name that the neighboring tribe had for them (because that is how we usually first heard about them).

Surinamese creole, the main lingua franca in Suriname): Kanadakondre (seriously where the fuck does the 'kondre' come from)...this was practically the only weird one >Quebec In Norman: Tchubec There were no other weird ones, and I guess it makes sense that Norman has the only weird one given that many of the first colonists in Quebec were Norman, so they had a different name and all.

>>7660337 kondre = country. That language is basically the langauge african slaves in anglo countries would have spoke. Ebonics and Patwa progressed into actually understandable languages because they were exposed to standard english long enough. Whereas Srnan tongo was deprived of it very early and remained very african slave-ish. Apparently there is a couple very old guys in the mountains of jamaica who can speak a language that sounds just like it.

The best one is "Germany" in Slavonic languages: Niemcy. It came from "mutes, speechless people, strangers" :D Oh, and "Italy" is Włochy which is like "hairy". Don't wanna know WHY. Poland in Turkish is Lechistan, and in Hungarian - Lengyelorszag.

I live in a land way below sea level I live between hordes of disgusting pigs always grunting about their sad lives I live in a land where big fat whales live, who cry all the time. when you talk to them they try to kill you with their putrefying breath. there are also many skeletons/anorexic people in my country, as well as black people who give you strange diseases. we like to steal their heads though yes, I live in netherland
