bretty good relationship Our consitution was inspired by the American one (the other inspiration was the French), almost as many norwegian-americans in USA as norwegians in Norway, and close ties after WW2, marshall aid and NATO, the UN and some other international cooperation.

UK. We get called your lapdogs just because our government went on two adventures with you, "freeing" the shit out of brown people and taking their oil. In reality we have no friends or allies, we just use other countries as a means to an end.

We're cool. But still, only the US embassy insists on having armed guards. Like seriously armed guards. USMC guys with MP5, revolver and bullet proof vest. And always several of them. During the war with Iraq, people wanted to protest in front of the embassy, and it was approved by the authorities. And the US actually called the minister of internal affairs, asking for military protection of the embassy. What the hell? There were never any attacks or something on embassies here. We're not some African shithole with raging Jihadist mobs. Stop being so paranoid America...

>Under the New Zealand Nuclear Free Zone, Disarmament, and Arms Control Act 1987[2][32] territorial sea and land of New Zealand became nuclear free zones. The Act prohibits "entry into the internal waters of New Zealand 12 n. mi. (22.2 km/13-13/16 st. mi.) radius by any ship whose propulsion is wholly or partly dependent on nuclear power" >After this Act was passed by the Labour government of David Lange, the United States government suspended its ANZUS obligations to New Zealand. Following consultations with Australia and after negotiations with New Zealand broke down, the United States reiterated that it was suspending its treaty obligations until United States Navy ships were re-admitted to New Zealand ports, citing that New Zealand was "a friend, but not an ally".[33] The crisis made front-page headlines for weeks in many American newspapers,[34] while many leading American senators were quoted as expressing a deep sense of betrayal.[35] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Zealand's_nuclear-free_zone

We're pretty tight. In the eyes of ~50% of the UK public, Obama cannot possibly do any wrong. In fact, he is a messiah for some. This is ironic because in some ways it makes the UK closer to the US thanks to pro-Obama zealots saying "finally we can respect the US"; whilst at the same time the Democrats seem less concerned with Britain than do the evil, cruel, slave-owning, women-hating nazi Republicans. Anyway, we treated the US better when we were the superpower than they treat us now they are the superpower.
