I collect foreign currency as a hobby, so I have too much to list here. I will list what I picked up at the coin store I buy my currency from earlier today(all coins): 5 French francs from 1947 2 British shillings from 1962 1 Peruvian sol from 1958 25 Turkish kurus from 1948 5 Thai baht from an unknown date, but the coin's pretty lustrous so I'm assuming it's not too old 2 Hong Kong dollars from 1995 50 Spanish pesetas from 1957 2 Yugoslavian dinars from 1977

All I ever encounter are just other euro coins. Whenever I end up getting a coin I haven't seen before, I stash it away. But I'm not an actual coin collector, and if the coin doesn't say where it's from, I never bother to look up its origin country. The only one I ever looked up was the one with the stick figure; I was curious why they made such an ugly-looking coin. ...oh wait, I did have some foreign stuff from before euro, but they're elsewhere right now. One of those coins had a round hole on it. I can't remember which country any of those coins were from though.
