Energy drink general. Do they sell Red Bulls in your country? Do you drink energy drinks? How much is it? Asking because i am visiting family in Scotland next month and i can't go a day without a red bull.

I never understood why people get hooked on Red Bull. I mean it's piss colored water with sugar, and they sell it for an obscene price. If you need caffeine buy caffeine pills/powder. 100 times cheaper. But it's ok actually, keep buying it. All that money goes straight to Austria.

Yes. Depending of how big the can is, the cheapest is like 1,70€. I often drink either Monster Khaos or Burn Day/Juiced Berry. They're the best, flavour-wise and the cheapest (1,60€ for 500ml.)

>>6065229 OP don't worry Red Bull is widely available in the UK, it's not cheap at around £1.20 a can. I recommend finding a Lidl (supermarket chain) and buying their own brand energy drink. It tastes like Red Bull, looks like Red Bull and has the same effect as Red Bull, infact I think it might just be Red Bull in a different can. It's about £0.20

8 hours later 6069264 Anonymous
> i can't go a day without a red bull. That is very unhealthy anon, you really should get off that shit. Our coffee is much much stronger, you should at least drink that while you are in Europe.

>>6065229 YOU THINK 1.20 POUND IS EXPENSIVE FOR A RED BULL CAN. ONE 250ML CAN IN AUSTRALIA IS 2.62 DOLLARS. IN POUNDS THATS 1.70. FUCK I HATE MY EXPENSIVE COUNTRY. But on topic: >Yes >No rarely. I do like vodka mixs with red bull though >2.62 AUD for a 250ml >You're addicted

9 hours later 6069547 Anonymous
Yes they sell Red bull Very Rarely, I drink coffee instead. Expensive as fuck, anywhere from ~1.6 to 3.8 dollars

9 hours later 6069586 Anonymous
A can of Red Bull costs some US$ 2, or 3 if your shop's shit. Only strange people drink it, there are dozens of equivalent alternatives for $1/can. A tube of twenty fizzy tablets with the same active ingredients costs the same, or less than one can of Red Bull.

9 hours later 6069642 Anonymous
Yup, "Burn" or any other cheaper one. Red Bull is good, but it cost like 16 kuna (I think that's about 3-4 dollars). The others are about 10 so I'm obviously not paying 6 kuna more for a name brand.

Red Bull is the cocacola of energy drinks, they sell that stuff everywhere. Aside from some minor differences there's not much difference taste wise, except with the really cheap industrial waste runoff like euroshopper. I prefer coffee but as long as I get my caffeine fix I don't really care where it comes from.

Got to say though, working at night really fucks up your digestive system and generally makes you feel like shit, even if you get 8 hours of sleep a day.

People are addicted to that because it's a ridiculous dose of sugar and caffeine that you can consume rather quickly. It's what we call an "impact high". It's the same way smoked methamphetamines or cigarettes get you high, they hit your brain so goddamn fast that you can't help but get hopelessly addicted. Stick to iced tea or something...coffee even. The sugar in that is going to cause you serious pancreatic trouble, OP. Medicalbro here...it's serious shit.

>>6065229 This stuff is more common over here, it's cheaper and nicer less than half the price of RB. Interesting fact: Red Bull originates in Thailand, where it's called Red Ox, and comes in little glass bottles, it's got much less caffine and much more sugar over there, and isn't carbonated.

Yep. We have a couple of local brands too. Energy drinks are fucking disgusting. I have no idea how people imbibe something that can be likened to the urine of a coffee junkie without throwing up. And its effects are nothing but bullshit. All it does to me is make me unable to fall asleep, not actually make me less sleepy. Which is fucking annoying when you're tired as shit and want to take a nap during a lunch break.

We have a couple of local energy drinks, the two most popular being - ''Ar mani atkal runā kaijas'' wich translates to ''Seagulls are talking to me again'', it's a line from an old song and DYNAM:T(Dynamite), while Ar mani atkal runā kaijas is a high shelf drink, dynamite is basicly our answer to the popular Burn brand and is sold in larger than average containers (1pint can in the picture) at a very affordable price. And yes we do have redbul it goes for 1,20Ls/small can wich translates to 2.20$ or 1.70Eur

14 hours later 6071278 Anonymous
>>6065229 Yes. Yes, usually when I'm pulling an all nighter or I feel very tired. Better than coffee. Also delicious. 2.20 euro for a small can (iirc), 2.60 for a big one. That's in small stores, in big supermarkets you may find it as low as 50 cents or something.
