Your'res cunt Do you go for night walks /int/? Is it safe where you live to do so? Going for a night walk right now. It's cold but I'm comfy. Northern Sweden is very safe.

I’ve been doing them since age 11. I lived in a very safe part of our city. I would go out at 9-10 with a flashlight and a pocket knife looking for frogs. The knife was because I was scared of red foxes, not for the frogs, to clarify. I would walk about a two and a half mile loop. The biggest danger was not trying to cross the road while off in thought because I was an ADD little shit. There was a Mapco (gas station / cafe) that I would buy hotdogs at. This was from 2005 until I moved out for college in 2012. Moved back to Tennessee after contract got dropped due to my company downsizing after business halved with covid. Started walking the same route again.

>>136006100 Rinkeby is infamously one of the baddest areas in Sweden. It's all commieblocks, junkies, immigrants and crime. To give you an idea, their police station is a fortified bunker made of military grade steel and several inches thick glass. It was built to withstand high explosives, large caliber gunfire and many of the police officers are escorted by armored cars to the station everyday.

>>136006349 Not that burger but this could be avoided if you 1. Kick them out And or 2. Employ US style policing in these neighborhoods. And I don't mean kick out anyone who is brown. Just the troublemakers and their enablers.

>>136006546 The Social Democrats have been the ruling party for a long time, 1932 to 1976 they won every single election. After that they won like 90% of them I think. And they are currently in charge. SD (Sverige Democrats) are gaining a lot though, with their anti-immigration views and nationalistic way of things. No surprise there.

>>136006392 >2. Employ US style policing in these neighborhoods That would do fuck all. Our police in big cities have armored cars and fully automatics and there are still places in Chicago/Detroit/Jacksonville/St. Louis where police don’t go out in groups of less than four after dark. I’ve even heard rumors that in some of the large metro cities the police have started wearing hard plates that can stop rifle rounds instead of just the soft vests that stop small handguns for patrol, instead of just SWAT raids.

I'd have to take my dog out if I wanted to do night walks and I dont want to cause theres coyotes out and theyre pretty aggressive if theyre hungry and ganged up. My general neighborhood is pretty safe but outside of that theres a lot of homeless people that are spooky. Some armed muggings have happened in the past.

It's safe but you can still run into drunk people or shady migrants. They don't do anything (well, drunk people may approach you and say some gibberish or try to ask for coins - you can just ignore them) but it's still kinda unnerving.

>>136008108 Most of them are fine, but some of them legitimately treat it as if they’re still on deployment and that we’re a civilian population to be controlled.* There was an incident about four years back where one of those guys went overboard with pepper spray on a 16 year old. He got fired for it though, so I guess a sort-of happy ending. *Contrary to the common use of the word, state and local law enforcement are actually legally civilians themselves in America. That’s why they still have to register their full autos and flashbangs the same way a private citizen would. Some of them get really pissy when you point this out.
