>download the original .iso image of Enterprise LTSC 2019 >download a software called NTLite, unpack the .iso via 7-Zip or similar software, mount the install.wim file from the unpacked folder into the NTLite software, then use it to disable all the possible telemetry in the settings, remove system appx such as Windows Defender and BioEnrollment, disable unnecessary services, etc >rebuild a new .iso image using NTLite >profit

>>71008016 >run windows update >telemetry gets reinstalled Reminder: LTSC is just regular enterprise with some metro crap missing/disabled. Telemetry wise it's the same thing

>>71008069 >>telemetry gets reinstalled Nope, im running LTSC 2019 installation since November 2018 which i've heavily customized with NTLite, i've installed all of the LTSC updates via Windows Update since then and none of the removed components got reinstalled by the Cumulative Updates. NTLite does deep removal and doesn't break sfc integrity, therefore components won't be brought back by Cumulative Updates.

>>71007459 >shill ltsc as an option for the tinfoil crowd (they think they can control our closed source OS) >shill secure ways to activate winblows from kms to simple tools (they think they fooled the machine) >shill snake oil botnet removal tools (they feel safe) >keep collecting data anyway in one of the 3000 svhost processes and the OS is so shit that resource spikes are expected >encrypt and send the data back, just pick one in a multitude of connections like update checking, cloud sync, smartscreen >dumb fucks trust us

>>71007421 MS uses feedback from the reporting services on their os to guide development. User tracking is baked into the development cycle of the OS. If you dont want this, Windows is not the OS for you. Try Linux, their development is guided by mailing lists.

The long-term branches are probably going away sooner or later. Much of the point of Windows 10 was to let MS save money on devs by not supporting things long-term. They want everyone on the rolling-release mainline version because that's easier for them and costs them less. Right now they can't do that because 7 and 8 are still around and in wide use. Once businesses are all safely pushed onto 10 they can start saying "After LTS branch 202X, there won't be another, all y'all oughta get ready for that" Enterprises will scream to high heaven, and it'll cause them endless problems as Windows has rapidly become famous in the 10 era for updates being even buggier than they were before. But what exactly are they going to do? Not use Windows? >>71008312 Well what most of their core customers wanted was something like 7 with whatever updated internals were needed to make it last another decade with minimal changes. Big companies with enormous fleets of desktops hate changes. They're cumbersome, and users are absolute drooling brainlets that can't figure out anything on their own, so a UI change means expensive retraining. But what customers wanted wasn't what was good for Microsoft. Providing something like that is expensive and undermines the other lines of business that they want to be in and think they can make more money off of. So at the end of the day, your "feedback" isn't really worth shit. Microsoft's attitude is that their OS exists to serve their needs. If it doesn't, they'll change it until it does and to hell with what you think.

>>71009033 >pajeet Im probably more white than your entire family, zoomer, besides, NTLite is a quality software and the developer (nuhi, who is also white uberman) has proven to be more knowledgeable about the undocumented Windows features than the entire Microsoft's dev team of today which can't even fix a tiny bit of pre-NT6.0 legacy code. God, the /g/ is full of retards and idiotic zoomers who can't even use DISM to service the offline install.wim image, you idiots are only capable of opening the Start Menu, you don't even know how to use regedit or group policy, you don't know shit about Windows and sysadmin tools in general you fucking brainlets, yet you shill the Stallman, Loonix and CLI crap everywhere you can, fucking nu /g/ Ubuntu touch screen zoomers crowd.
