>>70006988 Yeah, imagine being as retarded as you are. PROTIP retard: they just stopped making 32bit isos. You can still install 32bit ubuntus just fine from the mini.iso or the so-called "alternate installer".

>>70007279 Third world countries Underprivileged communities Low budget schools Tools for homeless people to find jobs, make resumes, etc Hobbyists Up-cyclers trying to reduce e-waste The fact that everyone defaults to believing 32-bit users are wealthy, obstinate tech gurus is silly. Retards already claim that Linux users only use Linux because they're too poor to afford Mac, so why is it such a difficult concept to imagine actual poor people still needing to use old tech? On topic - MX Linux is making 32-bit installs. LXDE/LXQT really aren't *that* much lighter on resources than XFCE. Look up the benchmarks. However, someone could always install LX on top of MX. Fedora and Sparky also have 32-bit versions of LX. So yeah, I agree it's pretty stupid of Canonical to even bother making Lubuntu if it's only going to be 64-bit. I've never met an LX user that had powerful hardware. There are tons of people who use XFCE that have powerful hardware though, so Xubuntu's decision to drop it almost halfway made sense.

32 bit is useful for VMs and computers with less than 2gb ram or less (even if they have 64bit processors). This is quite an omission for a lightweight distribution

>>70008337 >pentium 4 was 32 bit Not for the entirety of its run. They did have some Prescott processors that had x86-64 and Cedar Mill was also 64 bit ready, which is why Windows XP had a 64 bit version.
