I said that multiple times in my post that its my fault it shattered.
However, to shatter as bad as it it did is not something I would expect.
I have done worse to my SJ 7 and it ended up with a pretty well-cracked screen after a while to be honest that I never replaced actually, but it didn't do this and I never blamed my phone in those cases. Even with a couple times in the past with real expensive smartphones that I've broken I never blamed the phone.
Phones should be shatter resistant in case of accidents. This isn't about the fact that it broke.

7-8 hours is great considering the nice screen, the way it's meant to be used. If you want ebin sot get an Asus phone and slap a powerbank to the back of it, for the rest it's just grand. Basically it just comes down to which loudspeaker will be better for calls. I'm trying to understand the graphs and what they've written about it. Apparently the Go speaker gets louder at max, by about 6 decibels. 83 vs 77. But 77 should still be loud enough for hands-free calls at home, right?

It's between the Iphone XR and Galaxy S10E at this point. Leaning heavily for the S10e because she has smaller hands and don't want to hear her whine that the XR weighs twice as much and is a hand and a halfer. Though I have used Samsung in the past and wasn't very thrilled about stability (SM-T800 tablet on stock firmware bloated to all hell and randomly drained it's battery from 100 to 0% overnight at random for some stupid reason despite flashing it with IronRom). She likes the IOS ecosystem and has never used Android. S10E is also ~$100-200 cheaper on the phone itself and $30 on accidental drop protection (this any good with Samsung?).

I just got my poco like one or two weeks ago, and today I just noticed something weird about the screen. I was cleaning it with alcohol and a soft cloth and in the center I just realized there was like a zone where the alcohol would take more time to evaporize, and I just though that part was just hot and didn't care much, but today after locking my phone, I just realized the lcd had a kind of burn in, but dissapears if I turn off the phone, as it doesn't produce any heat, but if I turn it on and use the phone for a wile, even one minute, the mark will appear again. Also, whenever there is any color on the screen, I can't see that thing, just when the screen is either black or off. I think 1+ lost the entire dev community that went after it because it was cheap and had support for unlocking the bootloader. No reason to not go for a pixel now. Same price range, same A/B boot partitions, same overpriced hardware. At least the pixel comes from an American company and has guaranteed updates from 3 years. Expect to see more ROMs and kernel support for the pixels.

Can anyone help me with getting TWRP on my Redmi Note 7 Pro? If I flash it and boot into recovery it stays stuck at the splash screen and if I try to fastboot boot it the phone just boots into android. Anything special I have to do 'cause xiaomi? I've already got my bootloader unlocked obviously.
