If we take the best case scenario and it's not an elaborate scam then it still depends on when they are finally ready to manufacture them and the production capacity, depending on which it can take 2 to x months. it's not mhash, it's mhash/watt that you need to look out for.
if you do 100mhash and it uses 0w you can do that forever.
the only mhash/watt GPU that's worth it currently is AMD cards.

Bitcoins are essentially a stock you can buy things with. Instead of benefits or dividends they slowly become worth more. Also, if everyone decided Bitcoins were shit and stopped buying them the supply would exceed the demand lowering the price of them to attempt to sell them when everyone realizes they're losing money. Basic economics.
