About $40 for 4GB -- less if you get a good used price on Ebay. Not sure about 8GB modules -- they're probably scarily priced thanks to extremely low production volume.

I really want to get into buttcoin, but it's so shady.
Information that was good a few months ago is worthless now and no service is trustworthy at all and might run with your money at any time.
Not to mention that you can't buy them with cash, so I have to tie my credit card to it which defeats the point of an anonymous currency.

I have a few hundred $$s that I could easily use as play money, and given bitcoins up and downs, that seems to be the thing to invest in to easily get some insane profits with medium risk, if it werent for the fact that there is no single trustworthy entity where i can buy and sell bitcoins, without adding the "my coins/my coin provider might vanish/get robbed/run away with my coins" risk, which makes the whole thing really high risk…
