>>31974210 American way only makes sense because it's based on how people speak. You wouldn't say, 'Today is 5th November, 2012'. European/Japanese is easier to read because there's less confusion about what each number represents. Also, I'm gay

I wrote all the dates in a report in the yyyy/mm/dd format (it's considered the international format) and I sent it to my manager for his comments. Dbag changed them all to the second class american mm/dd/yyyy. Nevertheless, I use the format for dating my files and such.

English because I'm used to it and it's good for speaking and britain vs japan thing, I think is analogous to the remote control on the NES, seemingly illogically the NES's buttons are B-->A,, the reasoning behind this, is the fact that A is the primary function (the function being used the most) and B is the secondary function, were it to be AB, the user would have to go through more of an effort to touch the A button (it's further away), this is similar to the england way of doing the date, it's based on the likelihood that the reader already is aware of it the day (least likely) the month (likely) the year (are you retarded) I'm amerifag, but the british makes the most sense for writing. >>31974210 this is stupid because it assumes that I'm reading right to left, in the image, the triangle for japan should be the triangle for england, and vice versa
