Samsung 32" LCD TV question. The TV will turn on and blink about 5 times then go off but the audio will remain on. I've been told it was a blown or failed capacitor but I can not find any on the board. Could possibly be a faulty power supply...Any help?

Are you sure your capacitors are good? It can be sort of easy to miss.

>>29004121 From the research I've done, when one blows they are pushed outwards or leaking and none of them appear to be doing that.

>>29004189 Yes, the tops are bulging outwards. Even a slight bulge means that it's bad. Make sure there tops are all flat.

>Samsung They are very well known for using 2nd grade caps and it is actually quite common that the caps don't show any signs of breakage. After dealing with numerous Samsung TVs and monitors, you are better of just changing them all. It wont cost much and you will get a much more life out of that TV(caps are the most common reason for monitor breakage). Also get some decent ones, instead of being a cheapskate.
