Can I just solder my CMOS reset jumper? It's just two blobs of solder, and shorting it on boot doesn't seem to work. What say you, faggots? Pic related.

You could try but if you're trying to clear the bios password or system restrictions at a low level, don't expect to go far if it's built from 2000 onwards same goes for trying to get past by removing the cmos battery
