What is the easyest way to access my Kubuntu box from my Xubuntu box inside my LAN?
Is ssh the best way or maybe some remote desktop?
I want the easyest way because my brother want to do it as well and he isn't very tech savy.

There's no remote desktop for linux.. just ssh. You should probably stick to Windows if you want GUI-based remoting, linux is for people with actual intelligence.

Nice try.
OP, ssh is fine, and you can also used a variety of VNC (remote dekstop) software.
All of these are pretty easy to set up.

there's some way to use x forwarding as remote desktop or only works for single applications?
It's secure to not use pritave / public key for ssh as long as it cannot be reached from outside the LAN?

If encryption is not one of your priorities you could use xdmcp

I have not problem with the CLI, I started using GNU Linux in 1999. But my brother only know some basic shit and don't want to learn more. He is a little autistic so if he doesn't want nobody can't convince him.

1- search tightvnc or vino, you will have your answer
2-decently secure.

Anything is secure if you're completely firewalled from the outside.
You can't X forward an entire desktop, only applications.
Why do you not want to use RSA keys?

I was only asking. But I sure need RSA keys because the client is connected via wi-fi.
