Found this on /fit/ a while ago, what do you guys think of it?
I'm thinking about switching to a routine like this around July (6 months of SS). Would this be recommended?

I had great gains on a routine very similar to that.
And watch the before/after threads on here, probably 90% of the time, its a push/pull/legs routine just like this. It's because it works.

I see, I'll probably do this once I get done with SS. Would you advise doing this on a cut? Not sure how much that will effect my gains.

your routine is so stupidly similar to mine, yet you made way better gains in the two years that I did because I never bulked properly

Monday - Pull
Deadlifts - 4 sets x 6 reps – 10 reps
Barbell rows - 3 sets x 6 - 10 reps
Weighted pullups - 3 sets x 6 - 10 reps
Face pulls – 3 sets x 6 – 10 reps
Barbell curls - 3 sets x 6 - 10 reps
Preacher curl – 3 sets x 6-10 reps, drop to half weight, 8 reps
Wednesday - Push
Flat bench press - 4 sets x 6 - 10 reps
Incline DB press - 3 sets x 6 - 10 reps
Military press - 4 sets x 6 - 10 reps
Dips - 3 sets x 6 - 10 reps
Incline cross over – 3 sets x 6 – 10 reps
Friday - Legs
Squats - 4 sets x 6 - 10 reps
Lunges - 3 sets x 6 - 10 reps
SLDL - 3 sets x 6 - 10 reps
Standing calf raises - 3 sets x failure
Leg curl – 3 sets x 6 – 10 reps
Leg extension – 3 sets x 6 – 10 reps
Tues/Thur - Cardio 30 minutes and light ab work.
Weekends - OFF.
Starting this day after tomorrow. Still deciding how to set it up. Might just do ABCxABCx, or maybe keep it set the way I have it now

But regardless I think your actual routine has very little to do with what your body looks like compared to your diet so long as you just fkn lift the weights. Any split is fine, just do your compound lifts. I do something similar to this but give legs their own day and do shoulders/traps. I've gone from 260lbs to 175lbs 10% BF in 3 years being 6'1.

have you ever deadlifted before? this is not a good way to progress or workout at all with deadlifts. Lower reps and sets and go heavier.
