Nearing the end of my cut /fit/. It's getting pretty hard. No energy to go to the gym. Diet is slipping... At least I'm still keeping track of my calories... R-right?..

>>20004351 i'm on the same sort of journey. lots of treadmill running and watching what i eat. i do core exercises and calisthenics while i'm losing though. how fast is the weight dropping for you? (i'm at about 15 pounds every 2 months and i'm 4 months into it)

(last time i was 200 pounds i was about 15-17% BF) So... hopefully that'll be October... I just have to make it through all those summer parties and their delicious beer...

>>20004743 i haven't always been fat. i've been an above average athlete most of my life (hockey, football, rugby) but i don't have delicate little bones like some people who are 6' tall and 145 pounds. i'm of celtic descent and it shows. my bone structure is huge. last time i was at about 210 pounds most folks guessed i was 175-185. in terms of having been fat (twice in my life... olderfag here) it has actually helped build muscle since i stayed active in sports (while eating crap and avoiding working out). i reckon that my body had to build the muscle just to push my fatass up and down the ice while i played hockey or something. but adding muscle has never been an issue for me... just keeping trim.

>>20005510 that's some pretty amazing progress for 5 months anon, i've been lifting a similar routine as yours (albeit as AxBxCxx) for a good 9 months now and i've had nowhere near the same level of success as you. you seemed to both cut some bf and gain muscle in your 5 months too. it's almost too good to be true..

>>20005541 Like I said I do HIIT sprints for 20min 5-6 days a week. I don't do it on leg day. I know /fit/ will crucify me for this but I believe that cardio is more important when bulking to minimize fat gains and make lean gains. When i'm cutting usually in a day i'll have 3 eggs, 1 bowl of cereal, 2 cans of tuna, 5 slices of ham, 2 apples, 2 protein shakes, and then whatever my family is cooking for dinner. I try to eat something small once every hour. When bulking I eat 5 meals a day of whatever I want. Usually something with alot of carbs like beans on toast or a pizza or w/e

1 hours later 20005675 Anonymous
>>20005586 I would credit that to intense cardio while bulking

I really don't get the people on this forum. If that is you OP. On the picture... Get this; To 'cut' one must have substantial muscles to 'cut' visible by changing their intake. Now looking at your picture you look like someone that hasn't entered the gym once. How about you eat 200 kcal above your maintenance + focus on working out and cutting out all simple sugars from your diet. In 6 months you'll have built up some fat yes, but also some muscle. NOW you can cut. Right now you're just going into mr Skellington mode.
