Do something that'll earn your money Who needs hopes and dreams when you can have money? >law degree master race reporting in, $300 k starting

>>18521420 I thought this joke mindset died like 5 years ago >do something for money lel if you're not interested in it, good luck. In that case put all of your time and effort into finding out the best investments and real estate, who needs a real job? >law >think you'll be starting 300k unless you're really good with words, really invested all your time into it, and have had many clients good luck >thinks nutritionists and illustrators don't get paid good luck on your endeavors, anyway

Sit down at a corner on the street and offer fatties to draw them for 5$, then show them just how ugly they are. You get to laugh at them cry/rage and maybe you will motivate them or some other overweight bystanders to get in shape to not end up like this. I would even back someone like that on kickstarter.

dieticianfag here it's an underpaid profession compared to many other health-related jobs that require similar amounts of schooling, I knew that coming in though. However it's a fucking great job and unlike many other professions in the industry there's much less paranoia about being sued.

>>18521542 dude I have no idea, I just went into law because there is literally nothing else I could even consider tolerating for nine hours per day. Pay's all right no matter what you do, job market's stable and you get a neat title. I have no idea what I want to do in life and will likely kill myself at age 46 and die alone.

It is truly miserable to shoot for a degree for something you don't want, IF there is something else you happen to enjoy. I'm not one of the people I'm describing (I want to be a teacher, for fucks sake) but it just pisses me off that people always say "Do what you enjoy, not what makes the most money. Do what will make you you happy!". Because for some people, having a job they hate for 32 hours a week that pays more will make them happier than a job they enjoy for 32 hours a week that pays less. Some people enjoy having and spending money and it pisses me off that society tries to turn that into a vice.

>>18521616 >Europe Oh the glory. Anyway, OP here I'm 20! I feel nervous and suicidal at the thought of college, what to major in, life, work, etc. I was paranoid about not being at the right place/right time, not choosing the right major, etc. Then again my life always turns out working the way I want it to/turns in a positive light, so idk. Anyway, my advice is more like question. I'm sure you've been asked this but: what interests you? When you were a kid, or even the fact you are on this board /fit/? >>18521649 Engineering master race here. 70k starting in four years, minimum. 100k starting in certain fields, 120k as a petroleum engineer on a rig. It's super fun because it's just solving puzzles for a job. The downside is all the asspies but it's about half normal half ass pained. Feels good to do things that help industry. I built a microcontroler server cabinet for a copper mine last week at my internship.

24 min later 18521753 Anonymous
>>18521666 Yes I am certified, and yes you have to be. I make 60k but I've only been in the field for 2 years. The schooling isn't too hard, there's a decent amount of bio and chemistry but only 2 really hard classes. You have to do an internship (1200 hours) after you're done with the schooling so it takes longer than other 4 year degrees would. Not every school is accredited and has the program though, I had to commute about 50 minutes each way. As far as other careers I mean like BSN or PA
