Why would they judge you? You're bettering yourself. Just make sure you learn how to do the exercises properly

>>17005203 Fuck it, hit the gym hard for 6 months and you'll gain a fuck load more respect from every motherfucker in there. The first step is always the hardest, go for it.

People literally don't care. They'll either think "Oh good for him" or they'll think "What a fat fuck", either way they will have forgotten you exist when they leave the gym. Being fat is like having a bad hair cut, once you fix it no one will remember.

>>17005242 My gym has an option for sessions with a trainer, but its very costly compared to a regular membership. Assuming I take regular membership would it be alright for me to ask how to do a few exercises properly from one of the trainers? Or is it better to buy a month, learn everything I need to and set out on my own? Also, how does one get a spotting partner?

15 min later 17005501 Anonymous
>>17005402 Learn it on your own it's better that way. And if you share a bench during a workout you'll get a free spotter. If your friend tags along there's another spotter.

>>17005203 Fat Fuck so what. Unless someone wants to fuck you they wont stare at you. and you dont sound like you're turning heads look at your self in the mirror Ask your self "Am i fuckable" You already know the answer.

Go to Planet Fitness, it's a judgement-free zone. Not even trolling, there are plenty of pale flabby people there, and it's only like ten a month.

>>17005896 I would never do that. I would go to a real gym with people who do lift. That's real motivation. I don't know why you suggested planet fitness, but if it is for feeling superior next to fat fucks, that is a bit pathological IMO.

>>17005203 The only way to achieve something worthwhile, the only way to completely change yourself, the only way to go from a hapless overweight nobody into a powerful guiding force for change is though the burning fire. The fire remolds you. You first experience the trial by fire. Then you forcibly hammer in the change you want to see for yourself, one by one. Pain gets excruciating. You may fail several times. But all it takes is that one moment in the mirror. You suddenly need new clothes. Girls look you up and down. You've got a girlfriend. Guys wanna hang with the top dog. And for the first time, in a very long time, you cry tears of joy, happy that you are alive, happy that you didn't give up on yourself when everyone had given up on you. Bro. Lose that weight. Get that job. Start that business. Join that pro team. Go though the trial by fire. It is worth every struggle.

Had the same problem OP til I realized its all in my head. You think its other people judging you but its actually you being hard on yourself. Also surprisingly at gyms and tracks people motivate you more. When you go to the gym just think about how you're bettering yourself and that everyone starts small.
