Hey /fit/ I am trying to reach my goal BF% of 8% but have been stopped hovering around 12%. I hit the gym at least 3 times a week and work a very physical job. I eat at a minimum 500 calorie deficit each day and get close to 1g of protein per lb ( I currently weigh 180) What has happened? Why cant I get any leaner? What can I do to fix it?

If you calculated your 500 calorie deficit before your cut, you need to find out what your new TDEE is because if it's lowered much, then you might be hitting only a 200 or 300 calorie deficit
