Do you curl with dumbbels or barbells /fit/? I personally find barbell curls to be easier to keep good form but I don't know which one is more effective if they are any dfferent at all

I do straightbar curls. They just feel the best to me. I do them after deadlifting and DAT FOREARM PUMP is intense.

I do a power set 2x a month of 21s with the barbell.

I like DB curls 'cause they make me feel like Arnie. I always imagine I'm in a 1970's music video when I do them.

Arnie himself had said that BB curls helped build overall mass and size whereas DBs helped build peak. Also I've noticed that DBs feel more natural, since you usually use one arm for everything. If your arms are small, then stick to the barbell and make them bigger before you focus on the peak.

dumbells barbells put to much stress on the wrist and you use your shoulders more

Both both have their place don't use ezcurl bar though for biceps, only for tricep skullz

>>15004555 Good for you. Post your arm pics if you want to be taken serious. The general consensus is that pulup/chinups make the bicep stronger but curls make them "look" better. I use to be so against curls but said fuckit i couple of months ago and girls mire my biceps more often now. I'd say add curls no matter what your routine is.

elbows-behind-bar chins and back levers the load on the biceps is far larger than db curls and it develops more strength overalol.

I get a sharp pain in my forearms, feels like the bone is about to snap, when curling the barbell if my grip isnt exactly perfect. Why is this and how do I stop it? Will forearm exercises help?
