calling out some roid experts i think i just hit a nerve in my ass. i was sticking in a 1 inch needle on the very top part of my ass, close to my torso (probably shouldnt have done that) and all the sudden i had this big spasm in my ass muscle. it felt weird but not painful. i pulled the needle out and injected in another area. so i just damaged my nerve right? will i ever get strong now? fuck.

Are you feeling any pain? Do you have limited mobility now?

>>15002516 no. i feel normal right now. no pain, numbness, and regular mobility

Medfag here Best and most likely scenario is a swift and complete recovery Worst, yet possible scenario is you'll end up having neuropathic pain which is largely impossible to treat. You'll probably be on gabapentin, an antiepileptic drug If you injected in the outer top quadrant of your arse, you should be fine... But then some people are very different in morphology

I hit one in my leg a few months ago, was fine. Just bruised for a week or so afterwards

nerves can heal right? as long as you don't hit the cell itself, but the long line thingy

>>15002590 Yes... Even a complete break can recover if Wallarien degeneration is allowed to occur

I had that happen a few times when I was injecting my painkillers, it's nothing, really. Good call on choosing a different injection site, though, rather safe than sorry...

>>15002582 will i get weaker though? like i said i did that last night and right now im not feeling any pain, no bruising, no numbness, and i can move fine. my foot is sore, but probably just from working out

bro i hav got sum bad nuwz

12 min later 15002623 Anonymous
>>15002608 No, it won't get weaker. There's not really a lot of middle ground with nerve damage (as opposed to progressive degeneration). You're either going to be fine (very, very likely), or fucked with neuropathic pain for the rest of your life (very, very unlikely)

>>15002623 thanks bro.

15 min later 15002647 Anonymous
>>15002634 No worries. If you aren't getting burning sensations, pins and needles etc regularly over the next week, then you can safely assume you're fine. Good like bro

Relevant question, is it possible to induce periformis syndrome by injecting in your glutes? I've been having a shooting pain from my low back to my thigh whenever I squat or arch for my bench press. Foam rolling my medial glutes and low back seems to help, btw.

Youll be fine. Lol, hitting a nerve happens, Ive done it just switch needles and inject in a different spot. I hit one in my quad....Holy jesus that sucked. But it goes away fast
