Everything that can be used against common people is likely to be used against them.
A mortgage just gives the bank and government a reason for punishing you and taking everything.

These days you can use your crypto as collateral if I understand correctly. Check Mellon Bank of NY literally one of the oldest banks in USA now do crypto custodial services. You deposit you crypto to cold storage at their bank, and take out a loan against it. You immediately have double your money, meanwhile your crypto collateral will actually appreciate value faster than your house and can avoid capital gainz ... If shit ever hits the fan your crypto will be much more valuable

Sorry for the late reply, was making lunch.
The good: everyone is completely fluent in English, so moving there won't be a problem. People don't look down on foreigners so you'll fit in more or less, and there aren't a lot of 3rd world immigrants. There is a ton of nearly untouched nature and lots of opportunities for hunting, fishing, drinking moonshine, hiking. It's a bit like the Missouri of Sweden.
The bad: finding a job is hard. The population in the countryside is steadily decreasing. You might be able to land a job that's a few hundred dollars a month less than you'd get in Stockholm. I'd recommend being financially well off before buying a house, not after.

most of the anons who say that haven't even reached $200k. they say that to feel better about their lot
6 figures hell is a simple concept if unintuitive. in the 4-5 figures range you can take big risks and know that if they don't pay off, getting back on your feet is just a couple months or years of wagecucking
once you enter 6 figs, you realise that while wealth scales, it doesn't scale linearly. a bad bet with a significant % of your assets would be devastating. the psychological pressure is immense, as you have this significant sum of wealth but you can't leverage it in full
lucky midwits who reach 6 figs can escape 6 figures hell because they're not smart enough to realise the weight of their actions nor the level of risk they're truly exposed to, so they keep gambling. but for every smoothbrain who lucks out, many more will fall into ruin
then there is 7 figures purgatory. the light at the end of the tunnel, between 1 mill and 3 mill, where success is nearby as you're closing in to the point you can park that money in post-tax, safe, traditional investments yielding 3-4% per year and have upper middle class standards of living from that

pls explain. They can't change a fixed rate mortgage contract. A contract is a contract. Central banks can print more money and increase inflation, but that only decreases the amount that you have to pay off in value, so that's actually a good thing. Again, you'd be a fool not to profit from the current financial climate and record low interest rates.

The first $200k being harder is true though, it's just mathematics. If you have 200k and you invest it and you save $1k/month by wagecucking you'll hit $1M by your 14th year. By contrast, if you did not have the initial $200k, it would take you 10 years more. Ten fucking years. So yes, the first few 100k are the hardest.

I am in six figures hell and this true.
It also happens be that you tend to age a little faster and may end up in more responbility driven lifestyles (possibly family, or relationships) and therefore you have to make some safer investments for security. Which tend to yield far lower returns.
Some people can stomach extremely risky 6 figure investments, 100% FOMO, but its kinda dumb.
I'm 22 and at 200k+ now, I however do not believe that 200k will get anywhere close to the millions anytime soon, not unless I took extreme risk.
If you lose that 200k blanket, your basically back to pure wage cucking, being a poor fag and complaining about "paying next months rent" like some of the pathetic scum you see in daily life.

This is why we won’t crash nearly as hard this time around, people underestimate how big defi is, even on blockfi people don’t need to sell their btc when they can lend against it and get 5-6% annually, for whales that’s an income and for companies it’s very attractive, interest in the banks at 1% or less. No need to rush to sell and coins essentially “locked up”

It really depends where you live, what your life style is ect. If you basically live as a near NEET, then simple being able to eat what food you like, do what you want, and work on your own productive work without wage cucking is a massive improvement to life.
But if you have left home, in a wage box, paying your good boy taxes, then yes, you need at least 1 million+ to even live anything good.

Internet in Sweden is good and not very expensive, but not cheap either. I live in rural south Sweden and this is my current internet speed. Don't know how it compares to where you live but I'll include it for reference. Left is download speed, middle is upload speed, right is internet response time. I know people in rural northern Sweden who work from home.

Based aussies. Can see why aave is going to do so well.
So, do this, take cash out to buy shitty House at auction, then do it up with crypto gains paying cash for building work, bypassing tax as you don't pay capital gains tax on home improvements whilst you live there. Think imma just do this until 100m house. Will be going from 500k to 2m in rbc soon

This is part of it but not the whole story. Where I live now (mid-sized city) a house costs roughly 370 000 euro. Employment and education opportunities in northern Sweden are generally worse than south Sweden, and agriculture isn't really a viable source of income, so lots of people either move to Stockholm or northern cities. Since the countryside has a net population loss, there is no competition for housing to drive up costs. If you're ok with living in a small village of mostly older people you can buy a freshly furnished, recently renovated house for less than 10% of a house in a southern city. For reference here is the population decline in one small northern town.

Why are the burgers on this site retards who don’t understand how to leverage mortgages w cheap rates to get several rental property for regular monthly passive cash flow + appreciating property values? All you REALLY need to “retire” in the US is ~$500k. Anyone telling you $3m lacks intelligence

It's not that difficult if you get a job here or find a spouse or are a EU citizen. Otherwise it can be hard though. I know a South African white guy who had to pay like at least 20k euro in fees to move here even with being engaged to a Swede.

Then again, Sweden wouldn't be my first choice. The reason I'm planning on northern Sweden is because I have family there and I'm a bit autistic so I don't mind being lonely. If you have the opportunity to live cheap on a Greek island or on the Bulgarian coast maybe try that if you have the money.

Living in Sweden really is what you make it. Electronics are expensive and so is alcohol (unless you buy moonshine/smuggled or drive down to Germany) but if you like nature it's great. You can go anywhere you want and camp in the forest. You can get cheap easy fishing licenses all over, many lakes don't even need them. I live right outside a major city but I never have to see another human unless I want to. If you like being left to your own devices and if you like hunting, fishing, hiking, picking mushrooms it's one of the better countries to live in. I'd say countryside=better than UK or German, cities=more cucked but less crime than UK or France.

This is a bit gay cottage core and femcel but there's some decent info. I plan on living in rural Sweden all my life to save money and be close to family, but if you prefer southern Europe, eastern Europe, Asia or whatever there's nothing stopping you from going there either. Disagree, once you get to mid six figures you can actually buy or engage in revenue producing assets/start playing yield farms and its actually worthwhile, giving you a cash flow you can throw into shitcoins and still leverage their low liquidity for growth while not having to worry about losing that $3000 and having to wagie it up for weeks.
Once I hit six figure "hell", I was making my wagie paycheck every day on yield farms and then it was just playing the same game from before except I don't have to worry because I'm not really touching principal.
I get what you're saying about risk, but imo in crypto the way to risk profile as your profile scales is taking gains and consolidating them into revenue producing assets like LPs, nodes, DEXT, etc that you are no longer touching and still providing the excellent capital appreciation that crypto is known for but giving you a cash flow that you can hurl into high risk plays, rinse and repeat. You're backstopping your gain. I get the anxiety over having a bigger portfolio, but this way you're still proportionally allocating a sensible risk profile while being similarly exposed to growth.
