Does anybody else feel guilty that there are people out there who know nothing about crypto and work a 9-5 stressed about paying bills while you’re making bank off internet money? These people will probably go their whole lives not even knowing what a bitcoin is. It just feels like I’ve stumbled upon some secret goldmine I can’t share with anyone. It’s not like I’m smarter than these people either, I’m just a friendless loser who spent years on 4chan and eventually found my way to this board.

very classic fallacy. if no other external effects are assumed, a transaction should always improve both parties. otherwise they would not do it. trade and capitalism increases the pie. people don‘t necessarily loose when you make money. when you build a business they profit as well massively. in crypto you buy from willing sellers that will bite their asses in the future but that‘s their problem. we are all legitimate gamblers in this game (and could all loose as well)

Many of my friends who work 9-5 are happy, have their own homes, wives, children, the whole deal.
I'm happy for them, I have only recently been offered a 9-5, have 0$ in crypto, and I'm 25.
I don't feel sorry for my friends just like I don't feel sorry for the guys who made it in crypto.
I do unironically feel bad for the people whose families pressured them into college, are going into a shit job market with zero savings & no investments.
They are the ones who will suffer the most.
If I were to compare it to the economy of the South during black slavery, the people who had it the worst were unemployed whites because they didn't have a wage, didn't a daily food ration or roof to sleep under(unlike the slaves).

Yea, Tim is the man. He always comes with the greatest pumpanomics. SAV3 is great because it has 2 mil in locked liquidity that's owned 100% by the protocol (locked in burn address). So the sav3 price moves up and down with ETH. So if all else fails and volume dies, your LP token will move with the ETH price, and gain APY with all transaction volume. But then just factor in the fact that SAV3 WILL MOON, and you're gaining traction both on ETH PA and SAV3 PA.

Look, I think it's safe to assume that the majority of /biz/ are either virgins/incels or otherwise still some form of a social outcast to some degree
I'm in my early 30s, no kids, never had a wife or serious girlfriend, have rarely had sex (single-digit number), and the last true friend I had was in elementary school (we lost touch after he changed schools; haven't seen him since)
We have all been ignored, mistreated or maligned by the normies in our various societies in various ways. I don't care how much more of a normie you may think you are over others here; if you've posted on /biz/ for more than a few weeks at a time just out of sheer curiosity, you're not a normie, period
You'll never get to live a Chad-like life, and chances are you'll never look attractive, go partying/clubbing, sleep around regularly, have women get wet for you based on your looks/personality, be the popular family member/friend in your inner circle, enjoy the type of 'fun' that others do, etc. you'll simply never be 'that guy'. It's just not in the cards for any of us here
As far as I'm concerned, crypto is the equalizer for us. If we can't have any of the above, then we can at least avoid a lifetime of waging and be fucking rich thanks to our inclination towards computer-techie shit like crypto
Plus it's not like we're the secret club that we were in 2010. EVERYBODY has heard of either "bitcoin" or "cryptocurrency" at least once by now, and has heard of people making money from it. Nobody is forcing anyone to ignore it or write it off as a scam (shit, even some of us on here foolishly ignored it at first before coming to our senses). Nobody forced normies to throw their money into expensive dates/vacations/nights out/other mindless entertainment instead of putting it in bitcoin at $4k
Everyone has had the same opportunity to invest in crypto and make major gains; crypto doesn't discriminate
Therefore there's zero reason to feel guilty/sorry

This post reminds me of another reason why I'll never feel guilty: some normies/wagies look down on people involved in crypto so much that they even shit-talk the ones who claim to have made money from it
They'll say shit like "you gambled and just got lucky", "you were privileged to be in a position to make that money", "you should give some money to those that need it" and "you'll lose your money soon enough"
They will be the most sour grapes, ill-wishing ass motherfuckers you've ever met in your life, yet this thread's op is talking about feeling guilty
Don't believe me? Look at the recent reddit salt thread

Absolutely. Use Coinbase pro to get into an exchange and use Coinbase wallet as a starter wallet. Fees for using Coinbase pro are pretty low, especially compared to regular Coinbase. However when you are transferring crypto from an exchange to your walllet, the fees will typically be very high. Like 7 bucks a transaction. That shit adds up. I’ve started going into crypto about 2 weeks now and I’ve made my 3500 turn into 5000. Even 6000 but it dipped back to 5000. I got into Grt early because I had a good ass feeling about it. Also don’t trade as a starter. Just hold and forget. Eventually you’ll see gains. Right now is probably a good ass time to invest because cryptos are dipping kinda hard. Remember, be weary when cryptos are pumping and take advantage of dips, not the other way around. Eventually I recommend getting a hardware wallet like trezor for extra security . Mine will be here tomorrow (: good luck!

Only normies equate speculation/trading/investing to gambling.
Gambling is when your reward is extremely smaller than your risk. Say you play the number lottery, the odds of winning is 1 out of some big number that cannot be imagined by a human brain. You also cannot perform any kind of analyses on the process since everything leave up to "chance" or random variable.
When it comes to speculation/trading/investing, everything is viewable: the price, the transactions, the exchanges, the companies, the projects, the market conditions and statuses. These allows you to perform all sorts of analyses towards them and reduces the risk. That is why "DYOR" is fucking important but normies just like spewing "gambling" around because they hate or to lazy lurking the internet for public info and prefer instagram/tiktok/reddit for thots pic and elon memes.
Regarding swing trading, daytrading, and scalping, they are pure trading but most normies treat it like gambling instead of business. You ever see a drink shop just buy 1 type of bottle drink then set up a shop? No, because that would be gambling. The correct way is you set up a shop, do market research on which drinks that your community love and buy an amount of all types according to preference. In crypto, volume/mcap is a good indicator to gauge market attention. Then you buy the drinks for cheaps, set some sell limit for 1% profit, 2% profit, 3% profit and so on.
Also, like a business, have some emergency fund in case all of the drinks' prices dip and you can buy more.

yes, because greed is bad. quess what central bankers' answers are?
For this reason i will be very generous and donate much of my money to those who actually need it.
The only thing that matters is labor and services
You cannot simultaneously say "no" yet blame wall street and central bankers for their greedy corrupt ponzi schemes that are destroying the world. Because according to you, you would do the same exact thing if you were in their position.

If you have no idea what you’re doing, buy BTC and hold it. ETH is fine too despite the FUD. Don’t touch anything else unless you know what you’re doing or you’re OK with it going to 0.
Also there will be huge corrections on its way up so prepare your anus for sharp drops on the way.

I'm very informed on investing opportunities. I'm taking a lot of risk.
If you're too lazy, chicken and dumb, you're not supposed to have any wealth either.

Do not feel that way. I knew about crypto in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and still own no coin.
I worked as a software developer earning a minimum of $50000 in that whole time and I spent the money on holidays and eating out. I never put 50% of my money aside and never invested it. I always justified the stress I had at work by spending more treating myself instead of tackling the root cause;
>I needed to do well in my job because I'd be bankrupt if I lost my job
This created a cycle of stress which inevitably lead me to perform worse at my job and then change jobs only to repeat the process. I have spent 5 of my best years of my life hiding from my shadow, because I failed to exercise self control. In some ways the pandemic has helped me see this, I now eat oats+honey for breakfast every day and have 1 meal for dinner. I am saving a lot of money whilst working from home. But I still own no crypto.
Some people just put themselves in stressful situations where they will never succeed. It isn't about access to money it is mindset. I type all this out so you do not let your guilt stop you from making it, and in the hope that someday, I will make it too.
